Good morning.
We are here for the mobility committee meeting Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 10am in the council
work session room looks like we have a quorum present and so we will come to convene in
a regular meeting on today's date.
The first item is citizen comments or on agenda items.
I don't believe we have any citizens that are commenting as anybody called in.
So we'll move on to our number two items for individual consideration running consider
approval after I say MC two three dash zero one three consider approval of the minutes
February 22nd, 2023.
Can we have a motion to approve all right now second and I be MC 23 zero one one receiver
report and hold a discussion regarding the city of Denton's transportation mobility project
status report.
Good morning.
By the way, this is my favorite part of the mobility committee.
Oh, Barb and set low.
Oh, see she said she thought I could do this.
Okay, there you go.
Okay, this is john poster innovative transportation solutions and we will go over the project
report that contains all the on system projects and some of the off system in in the city
of Denton.
As we always do, we are working on a list of projects that have about a $4 billion impact
once completed on the residents of the city of Denton and some of the projects like the
outer loop or estimates at this time and I'm sure that those will go up over time.
So 2181 north south this project is essentially open to traffic.
We have some lane changes and some punch list issues we're dealing with the erosion control
making sure that the grass and everything is established before the contract gets to leave.
We're doing some adjustments to some of the noise wall issues for sight distance and we're
making some changes to the turn lanes and but essentially when you drive 2181 now it's
open to traffic the way it should be.
Finally okay so that 35 North project it's actually broken up into three projects although
there are four CSJs the purple CSJ is attached to a project that's called FM 455 through
Sanger and it crosses all the way from the high school on the east side all the way out
to 2449 towards the end of the county and it includes the inner interchange at 35 but
the rest of the project is are the three CSJs that make up the total of the remainder of
the project.
The two that we're most interested in are the 081 the northern section and the 074 which
takes it from Fort Worth Drive all the way out of the jurisdiction six lanes all the
way through ultimately to the county line and it's got a we'll be done with right away
this month and we are moving into utility relocations we're anticipating that being completed
in December for this year although we've got some issues we may need to address but that's
okay because our dollars for these projects are in the out years of 24 and 25 so if we
get project ready to let by having the utilities relocated where there's a in the next UTP
we can update the UTP to move those dollars to a current year.
I have a question about utilities when utilities are moved are utilities only located on either
side of a major highway like that or can you find utilities on both sides both sides so
what happens is the state of Texas allows the outside Parkway to be utilized as a utility
accommodation zone and so on an interstate is 20 to 25 feet on a state highway farm to
market it's 15 and they have priorities of use right so the outside five feet are usually
reserved for your telephone poles stuff like that and then as you progress in then it goes
to the underground utilities but there it's there because it's easier to go on a road
right away than it is to impact all the residents along that corridor for an easement so that's
why they do it okay.
So John I might add Councilmember Byrd during any utility relocation that the city's doing
and our team is delivering multiple utility relocations along the 35 corridor we've actually
procured easements outside of the tech stock right away that are water and wastewater specific
to be able to put the new infrastructure in and because we obviously need to be able to
access it have working room working space to maintain and operate there are a few areas
where we did use the utility accommodation zone specifically in areas where we weren't
able to work with the property owner or there was substantial land take that would be impacted
but it's been a major process to be able to acquire easements along the entire corridor
and we're still working through that.
I can imagine all right thank you and these are a list of all the various projects we're
working on utility wise on these on these CSJs in their anticipated permit letting and
then they'll provide us with a schedule.
So then the merge is the next project below that from 77 south to the split between 35
E&W.
We are pressing hard on this project it has a September 23 let date we have you know still
utility issues we have to address but we're working through those we meet with with tech
stock folks fairly regularly on these and so we are working through the issues associated
with that to try to hit that September date as close as possible and it's fully funded
in the UTP.
So it says it's got 431 million now and it was 571 we did two things one asked for more
money in this current UTP that's before the Commission now and we removed some scope that
we thought we could get away with removing in the interim for example we were going to
build the direct connects for loop 288 on the north part before loop 288 gets there
so all we're going to end up doing is shifting that cost to the loop project so so scope
change and additional money to get to the right dollar amount and we're still like
to say tracking for a November let date September is already let six lane divided facility then
Mayhill we're working towards getting this project ready to let by the end of the year
there are utilities are basically always the critical path item towards the end of a project
the designs done the funding is there the utilities are being relocated and we all feel
fairly confident that we're going to be able to hit that ready to let date of 23 and again
when we get closer to that we'll be able to submit in the next UTP to move it up from
the June 25 date and it's funded as well.
When you say move it up.
So right now it's in June of 2025 which is what fiscal year that I think is 24 and we're
going to be ready in December and so and in 23 so that's a whole nother UTP cycle and
so what we do is submit it say we're ready to go and then though there's projects elsewhere
in the state that didn't get ready and so we'll just move into that slot it's a guess
when we start these projects back in the whatever 2011 12 22 we're shooting for a let date
of 2025 but if we hit it earlier then we get to we get to move them up.
Frontage roads we have the section that it's interested to city Denton we have WSP on contract
they are working on the frontage roads and when I say a frontage road project at three
hundred forty one million dollars that includes all of the great separations in their ultimate
form so at 407 when we hit 407 at the bottom of the limits they'll reconstruct that little
bridge that you have like three lanes going under right now that whole bridge will be
reconstructed to the ultimate width of the bridge that was planned in the in the schematic
that was approved back in 2020 so all the bridges across the freeway going north will
be changed to their ultimate configurations along with the frontage roads being built
there's great question on that I had an email from a constituent oh gosh was this back in
end of March 1st of April because there was a development proposed or there's some talk
about a development down there off Corbin Road UNT and all these kind of things I mean
that's just all sort of anecdotal but preliminary but he was concerned about not concerned is
questioning about the frontage road because that was part of the discussion that was part
of the discussion of the developer was how there's gonna be a frontage road here so people
can take the frontage and he got an email from text dot saying that and on this it's
not showing this is just showing from what is it 407 to 2449 yes so if you look at this
map we're going down down a certain distance on 35 W for the merge okay we thought we just
stopped right before the railroad track okay and then on on the project that we're doing
south we stopped just north of 2449 because that area in between there's floodplain right
but I think we've been reached out by that developer I think the county head and where
we worked with text dot once we got some concerns from the property owner and we think there's
a way to accommodate their access in the interim we have because I think well I don't know
I don't know wherever that project stands I guess my only question was because the text
dot response was the frontage road section and I quote and I can send it to whoever
needs it the frontage road section from FM 2449 to FM 1515 which I believe is airport
road right so that's from 2449 up to up to airport road is phase three yep and is not
expected to be started construction plan for several years so somewhere in a long-term
plan there is fill it a plan to fill in that segment from 2449 to airport road with a frontage
road have you ever played that game where you draw straws whoever gets the short stick
at the end has to build phase three everybody wants to avoid it okay it's very expensive
and there's no okay mobility there phase two is from 407 all the way down to Dell Iron
Heart just north of the airport I mean the speedway so we're doing the 2449 to 407 it's
phase one because there's a lot of development there 407 to Dell Iron Heart is phase two
and then we're coming back to do the creek we know how that goes right but there are
that the people that are in that area have reached out to somebody because it got to
me somewhere okay with my other hat on and we've found a way to make okay some of the
mobility access yeah okay John I would add it also has come through the development review
process that particular site and part of the coordination efforts are looking at a lot
of that is elevated due to the floodplain in those areas and there's also an ordinance
that actually closes Corbin Road right a lot of those conversations have already been had
and talking through that with the developer so the portion that TechStats constructing
and like he said is in a later fashion but they still have a schematic that shows what's
going to happen in that entire area so they at least have a visual representation or schematic
that talks about what will happen okay yeah the entire corridor has been cleared and a
schematic approved for them so they know what they're going to get at some point so got
you all right fantastic that clears that up thank you so much thank you manager okay so
the construction job on 380 from 288 up to 377 progresses I think you've seen now they've
got the temporary concrete traffic barriers up in there those are up while they are and
they're offset so they can start to build the actual median onto the onto the pavement
in those sections so we're we're working on that project it says December this year we're
supposed to be done and as our last mobility meeting I think it was was that last week
last week it's been a lot of living since then we're still on track for this project
it's moving it's moving there they are down behind 21 days right now and that 21 days
gets you to the December 29 but they are working on a recovery schedule to get those 21 days
back okay then the frontage roads we're just working on design chain Patel is working with
all the entities that are involved we're have a lot of work down at the south that seems
that everything at 2449 keeps changing depending on who you talk to so we're I think we meet
fairly constantly with city staff to make sure that what all the development folks there
want in that area we're making sure the road accommodates whatever the city wants so it
is what it is it's a this will do both we're proposing the design we're doing allows us
to do both frontage roads north and south before we're just going to do the northbound
and then a grade separation at 380 and the railroad track in the interim and then as
development progresses or whatever we'll come back with the main lands and other grade separations
and that two frontage roads two grade separations right now is right at 220 million dollars
down the air and then because of the work we're doing on excuse me before you go on
if you scroll back down to the this is a really kind of it's kind of a crazy question because
I know the answer but somebody else may want to have the answer to this that green line
looks like it's laying on top of some buildings or something like that does that mean anything
in terms you know the buildings the structures that so the white dots if you see if you're
talking about like the white dots and stuff right in here those are all well pad sites
gas wells so we really had to thread the needle on this and actually early on the city of
Denton worked with us on their transmission line and you can see there's right inside
the curve there is a gas well we had to move away from that gas well but it also hit one
of your towers but we were able to shift the rest of the road to miss the rest of your
significantly expensive towers so yeah we threaded the needle on the gas wells okay
thank you now the reason the rato acquisition is going from environmental clearance of 20
we usually only give them a year to 2024 and we have 12 parcels in negotiation three in
ed four parcels in possession out of the 19 and we've been at it on these two sections
for a while because every time you deal with the gas well as a right away take you also
have to deal with the utility issues all at once because the transmission lines or the
distribution lines when you take them out of service to move them that's a revenue
loss to those gas wells and so the gas well issues are harder to deal with than just a
standard utility so you had to do rato acquisition and utility relocation essentially all at
the same time on those two those types thank you so as we know we're eventually going
to take 380 East as a freeway and it will tie into the city of Denton and instead of
a coming through town we're going to have it redirected as a freeway to the loop it's
on everybody's thoroughfare plans is that and so in order to do that we have to add
the frontage roads to the 288 section I call it the north section but I can't get anybody
to tell me to stop calling it east and so we're working on that connection more direct
connection between 380 and 288 so that the traffic can flow from one facility to the
next without having to come to a hard stop or a hard turn and this one I think we will
meet with every two weeks because you all got a lot of people wanting to build a lot
of stuff 288 and we're just trying to keep the wolves of bay until we can get this thing
cleared so that they can start helping us construct part of it so it's a constant chain
ideally where would that that road run into 288 what's the yeah there's a there's a big
warehouse development going going down the ground right now we're hitting 288 just north
of that okay we'll go right behind them yeah I've seen that Bonnie Bray so this is so up
here on 288 if this is this portion in detail so this section right here we are designing
with the Westwood contract the county's picking up the content design for that and it includes
Bonnie Bray 7 which is y'all project y'all been working on from the south north for years
and this is a segment we put it on this report because although it's Bonnie Bray it's a connection
between US 77 and in the loop and so tech start and cog are funding this and so they're
picking it up as a central and on system job and so it has to be environmentally cleared
and so we just added it to the 288 job but we wanted it as a breakout so you can see
that when you see reports on Bonnie Bray 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 that it's a it's part of the loop
288 job so its lifecycle is tied to the 288 left cycle Airport Road we are moving towards
a October of 2024 ready to let we should have all the right of way acquired by the end of
this month and I don't know of any real issues on this project that it came up in our last
meeting so I think we're cooking with gas or no you can't cook with gas anymore whatever
the other thing is 1173 so the eastern part 1173 is running great we're moving forward
we're trying to get all the right of way done for sure on the east now because we want to
do the tie in with the 335 job that we're going to let next you know into this year
the west side they keep changing council staff on me and so and members and so initially
we were going to cut the limits off just east of the railroad track right here in this area
but I think the new folks want us to come back and talk to them about the art of the
possible of extending the improvements all the way to 156 and the hard part is is that's
a historical downtown and everything is right on the road I mean right on the road so we're
scheduling a meeting between the textile at the county and crumb to discuss the logical
terminal on the west side but the east side's moving fine outer loop so Monday today's Wednesday
Tuesday Monday they had the second public meeting at embassy suites I'm sure that says
they didn't hear somewhere Monday May 22nd Convention Center from four to seven there
were about a hundred plus people that showed up over time right it's a come and go meet
and greet the overwhelming majority of the questions we're getting is where is it going
to be and how long is it going to take to get built that we do have some folks are specifically
concerned about alignments that are bringing up that issue but for the for the most intent
everybody understands the need for the road and what I would like to do probably on our
next mobility meeting is include a second photograph of this area because people think
we're building the outer loop to attract development and what we have is a picture that shows this
same area with all of the approved developments that are fixing to come out of the ground
those that are in process that are about to be approved and those that are rolling into
the process and they're color-coded and there's not any hardly any white left between thirty
five and the county line it's just it's staggering the numbers that you see in this area and
so we're not building nobody's trying to get a loop road put here because we want to
attract development the developments coming and there is no infrastructure for those people
so we're rolling for a summer of 2026 environmental clearance and the reason it's taking that
long is because this is a full-on environmental impact statement as opposed to an environmental
assessment which is a lower level clearance we're doing the highest level of clearance
that you can elmond locus this is where i get to turn it over to my boss so i'm sorry
i just got choked a minute ago but elmond locus so we met with the state and with textile
and also the county and john last week and we are working through we've agreed to the
pavement cross-section textile is working through their design and this is all for the
portions that are south of hickory that you see color-coded on the map they are going
to be working through taking that to the next step which is getting the funding associated
with it they're also working through an agreement that we'll have to go to austin for approval
for us to turn back the roadway to the state from the state to the city i'm sorry i have
asked um amanda miller when she comes to make her presentation at the council meeting on
june 6th to be prepared to give you all more specific guidelines and timelines so you have
those answers we get questions on that periodically i know you do too and so being able to address
those questions and concerns on the southern portion on the northern portion we're currently
working through an ica with the county for the funding we received as a um and i know
you're going to ask me that it's not on the top of my head john what what an ica i can't
think of the interlocal cooperation agreement operation i couldn't think of the c people
call it ila but they've never read the the statute it's an interlocal cooperation agreement
there is a c in there thank you for helping i'm sorry i i couldn't remember the c on the
top of my head appreciate it so we're working through that with the county we're going to
bring that forward it'll come through council um and that's for the first phase of our funding
to start the design of the alman locust cross section from 380 um to right around the downtown
area right around oak area um and we already have the funding uh approved in the budget
for the water wastewater improvements um and then as a part of the bond package for november
it has some additional improvements that are a part of the drainage in that area um and
so kind of that collaboration of all of those things together but we've already been meeting
with john and his team um through the county process and so that'll be coming forward here
in the next few uh weeks as part of a council meeting so progress um anxious to get a copy
of the agreement i've already asked for the draft copy of the agreement for the turn back
so that our legal team can go ahead and start assessing that um there's currently another
city going through the same process um which is the city of grand prairie and so they're
working through some of those logistics and that'll be the template that's used our ultimate
goal will be to take over elman locust from eagle to 380 as a city roadway so um working
through that process and and i'll tell you tex dot is just as interested as getting the
southern portion completed as we are interested in them getting it completed um so they want
to have that roadway reconstructed they agreed to the roadway cross section the design and
we are evaluating if there's any improvements that can be made from a city perspective to
sidewalks or ada concerns um just because that's not included in the product part of
the project so you may see something coming back forward through the cip process that
says we'd like to go ahead and add this because it makes sense to do it all at once um so
that'll come through the cip process but definitely move in in the right direction um and i know
amanda is very aware that that'll possibly be a question that comes up on her june 6th
presentation so i've had her prepare for that all right thank you absolutely did you have
any questions glossary of acronyms there it is we're going to have a test on these yes
there's the ica right there if i just would have had it open i couldn't remember the c
interlogal cooperative agreement thank you john all right i don't know should i leave
it you're good no worries you're doing no worries awesome thank you sir thank you john
okay well then we're going to move on to mc two three dash zero one four receive a report
hold a discussion and give staff direction regarding moving the mobility committee meeting
time from 10 till 11 absolutely so as you can see from the calendar we only have a few
dates left we have the june 28th july 26th august 23rd september 27th october 25th november
29th and december 20th meetings left so um we have substantial i guess we're halfway
there maybe for as far as the calendar year goes um and so um we know there may be additional
committee members that join your team um when those types of situations go through the process
um through the council one of the thoughts that had been brought up or conversations
that had been brought up in the past was moving the meeting from 10 a.m to 11 a.m and we did
check with the room checked with billy from as far as broadcasting etc that time frame
is available so this action item really for you is just to give us direction as to whether
you'd like for us to move from 10 to 11 um or if you're comfortable with staying at 10
we have no preference either way we'll be here for you we just would like your direction
madam chair if i could i probably would like to at least withdraw or postpone this request
and i think the request really came from me only because you're right in a month or so
the mobility committee may be comprised of different members so i think that's the time
if anybody wants to change anything because i may or may not still be here so if i if
it's being changed because of an impact to me i think we need to postpone that absolutely
and i can work around it until we see how everything flushes out so sure yeah that is
no problem at all we're happy to do so and we'll bring this back forward to see if there's
any updates that need to be made and i don't have timing on all of that i know the city
secretary's office is working through those logistics so i know that's upcoming i know
we've been communicating with them so i would anticipate it possibly might be july or august
before that time frame happens so i know we're going to get to a point where we don't have
a lot of council meetings here in the upcoming due to this summer in the retreats etc so
awesome okay well then we can hold off on that item and we won't take any direction
for that okay and uh so we'll move to mc 23 day zero one six staff memorandum awesome
so i have trevor crane our director of capital projects who's going to come and give you
updates on both of these okay good morning everyone good morning so we'll go through
some updates here um bonnie beret street um so the temporary pavement that um that construction
or that fix that we were talking about the last couple of times that have that has been
completed temporary pavement is all down so um between i-35 and scripture is open to traffic
and fully completed um bonnie beret phase three i won't go through all this again but
uh it was re-advertised and is actually opening this afternoon so um fingers crossed we've
uh we did get a lot of traffic on that on that um bid um i think we got four or five
um contractors that were looking at it and they were all new contractors so we're hoping
that that comes back in um at a better cost so i'll know more this afternoon um bonnie
beret phase six i think last time we talked we talked about us acquiring that last uh
parcel that we were looking for so we have everything we need um now we're working with
text dot to get the state letter of authority that will allow us to um move that out to
bid so that's what we're working at um working at now um and as soon as we get that we'll
be putting that out on the street for bid um and bonnie beret three and six both have
a two-year construction timeline um bonnie up uh since bonnie beret phase three is opening
today that one's probably going to move a little faster than six um but we're hoping
around quarter three of 2025 and then probably six a little later than that so hickory creek
road phase three um really nothing to report here everything's moving forward we're dealing
with a couple of utility issues but um really nothing that should impact the timeline of
that project at this point um so it's moving forward um looking at a estimated completion
of quarter one of 2025 um and that's i have a question of hickory creek yes ma'am road
um i know that is a winding road is that right yes ma'am is this project going to improve
so what it does be so tight yeah so we're actually getting rid of that all that those
curves we're putting a bridge over hickory creek so from um brush creek all the way to
country club road i believe um it's going to be a a bridge that goes over that roadway
and actual hickory creek as it is now hickory creek road will not be accessible to traffic
okay all right thank you yes ma'am did you know that they're gonna put a bridge over
there it's tight over it's a pretty big bridge yeah all right thank you and that's all i
have all right thank you very much thank you trevor yeah trevor has a really cool video
that shows that entire bridge what it's gonna what it looked like before and what it's gonna
look like so that's a really um i like the rendering it's something that we are talking
about doing more with all of our projects because it's really hard to visualize what's
going to what it's going to look like when it's completed so it's a really cool video
um that was shown during the council meeting but i know it's been a little while since
then so okay so last thing we have is just future items for consideration um for us to
bring back to you as part of the staff memorandum so bonnie bray we're giving you the bonnie
bray and hickory creek road updates monthly um ryan we're not doing anything until um
we get closer i think i know we've mentioned this before but ryan's on hold um as we move
through completing hickory creek phase three since they're both the only really true east
west corridors that are substantial um in those areas um the text dot citywide speed
study limit change um the portion um that text dot is actually reviewing brett has had
several conversations back and forth with text dot recently um they've asked for some
updated maps now they're asking for mile markers of the locations so we've made quite a few
back and forth with some maps and working on completing all of those and getting those
all submitted over to them so um the speed study that we did they wanted graphical representations
of actually the locations of which we did the speed studies so brett's i think he's
had several he's shaken his head yes several back and forth um emails i've seen kind of
the email trail back and forth we don't have an estimated time frame on when that's going
to be completed but i'm just working to try to make sure we meet all the requirements
that they're requesting of us so i have a question for that yes ma'am have we actually
i've seen some new fresh signs yes ma'am um and they're wanting to know where each one of those
signs are located or i mean which streets changed no ma'am we have not had the so we have not had
the ability to make any of the modifications we recommend on the textile roadways within the city
of denton because they formally own the roadway so um james has made all the updates to all of the
signs that were done that were city roadways james andrews who's our traffic operations manager
he and his team have already swapped out all of the signs um and that includes the school zone
signs that needed to be updated but the textile roadways specifically the updates cannot be made
until they're in agreement or have something that they would like for us to modify have additional
questions so we anticipate that's going to take a little time to work through that so
any modification to a speed limit sign in textile right away or that is on their roadways
it's going to be some time until we work through this whole process
did you have a question again you have one question yes sir
on the i think the report was your turn your mic on yeah it's okay the uh the uh
you're reletting the bonnie bray i forgot the phase number from rose lawn to 35 what phase is that
uh rose lawn to 35 is three three okay yes so that's being relet or open or being submitted
or they're submitting the bid today is something open today the bid is open yeah okay so what's
the timeline from for that so is it you get them in how long is it held out for what's the if it's
if it's open today so it typically takes a couple of months for us to work through the process so
as soon as the bid's open we go through all of the bid evaluations um i believe this was
one was done competitive sale proposal okay all right cool and that's also due to the council
schedule so yeah um the summer schedule sometimes i know y'all get very packed agendas but it's
because there's only a couple of meetings during the the summer months but um i would anticipate
we're having a pre-con with that contractor probably august so as soon as the council gets
approves the contract then we would move forward with um getting the pre-construction meeting held
having that contractor get on board and then moving forward through the process help me
understand some some some terms because i think i'm a little confused so when you say the bid is
opening today that means people can submit yes today so or is that they're being open today
because they have submitted no they do not submit until but it's opening the bid so about 30
so about 30 days ago 35 days ago is when we put everything on the street for everyone to review
and and and turn in their bids today we're at we're actually opening the bids to see how much
gotcha and then what what we'll do is that will give us we'll open those submittals um i believe
it was competitive sale proposal so we'll have a team that goes through those submittals we'll
look at all the contractors um all their the paperwork they turned in all those types of
things and then we'll grade it out we'll grade it out and then we'll bring it to council with
whoever was the the time so you'll know pretty quickly if hopefully that we'll know the changes
you put in place brought things down to a little more manageable level we'll notice today it's
going to be like uh-oh this really didn't change much and so correct we got to figure something
out yeah we'll know that today okay i think what we're saying is if um if it did bring it down and
we find a contractor we want to move forward to then it takes us about two or three months to
go through all the paperwork and then get it on council to approve that contract but if not then
you bring back the same thing you did before and you go we reject all bids and we'll have to look
at it and determine yeah maybe this is just the maybe this is just the real cost of it and that's
what we have to do so yeah appreciate the clarification thank you no problem you know it
sounds like opening the bid sounds like you're putting it out there opening the bid literally
means opening the envelope and correct and looking at it correct so once the project is ready to go
to bid we advertise which is the advertisement which is typically 30 days whatever so today we're
physically opening those right sorry for the confusion interpreted both ways we're going to
open the bid out well and i'll tell you you bring up a very valid point some of the things that our
team's been thinking about is we are so ingrained to a lot of these terminologies and processes that
we use is how um in our next construction guide or even a presentation to council we can talk through
the life cycle of a project and then when you get into construction what temporary payment means
versus what permanent payment the life cycle of a project there too because that we get a lot of
questions that and so do you so we'd like to help educate so um and we don't have answers you know
that are always great from a time frame perspective but we always do our best to try to make sure those
construction schedules are as short as possible um because of my background in education i will
tell you that the uh the level of reading and learning is on sixth grade level for the entire
country for sure so anything that you all are putting out there or we everybody is putting out
there we need to speak as simply as we possibly can absolutely to capture everyone in so absolutely
we're even working to implement that as a part of our pre-construction meetings we're doing with
you know people and many times for example on bunny berry face three they may have no idea what's
under the street and there's a lot of infrastructure underneath our roadways so just trying to help
educate and explain um and really it helps tell the why so right looking forward to those upcoming
conversations um i have the answer to um so i've updated you and given you the answer on the city
wide speed study um i think the other two items that came up from february one was evaluating the
ita's uh presentation schedule i think we talked about did it need to be on a different time frame
i think councilmember bird you mentioned that you would like to still see it every month it was
something that you enjoyed i know you were okay with it so we were just going to ask if you had
any additional questions or comments on that or if we could remove that request from the agenda matrix
and continue with it being monthly okay and then um resident construction updates we brought that
forward in february so we're just requesting to also uh remove that so we'll continue to give you
the bonnie bray and hickory creek and then at such time we have information to share on ryan road or
citywide speed study we'll bring that forward and this now opens up the time for if you have
anything additional that you'd like for us to bring forward at the next mobility committee meeting
on june 27th you have anything i actually have something but i forgot what it was i should write
it down i've been doing that lately um okay i don't have anything okay well if you think of it later
no problem at all so awesome well then oh yes i did have a question yes this is what it was about
the bicycle the uh the what are those called those white ballots yes the ballots i just see the
ballots in certain locations is that project rolling out or are we still in a testing phase
as to which which locations correct and also about the employee that we lost uh moved to florida
the gentleman um that was here for a little while i think it was working on the biking and you know
correct transportation part tell me a little bit about where we are on on that particular um project
so been with those things that we can answer or should we bring those back at the next agenda
at the next next time okay so next meeting we can bring you back as a status update of some of the
most recent things that we've deployed and then also an update on the hiring of the bike pad we'll
have brett make those presentations okay that'd be great absolutely all righty then that is
everything and we'll add those two things to our agenda and be prepared for you next month
okay do we have any more any concluding items did you have anything okay well i don't have any uh
thing additional to add uh so we will close the meeting at 10 is that 10 45 uh am this morning
thank you thank you thank you
