                     Welcome everybody to this meeting of a special called emergency meeting of the Denton City
 Council on Tuesday, June the 2nd, 2020, it is 1207 p.m.
 And so we have a quorum, everybody's present, so I will call the meeting to order.
 And our first item and only item on this agenda is to now convene in closed session at 1208,
 deliberating, excuse me, regarding security under Texas Government Code Section 551.089
 and consultation with attorneys under Texas Government Code Section 551.071.
 So at this time we will go into closed session.

EMERGENCY MEETING
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551, V.T.C.A., Government Code, notice is hereby given of an
Emergency Meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Denton, Texas to be held in the Council
Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at
12:00 p.m.
Note: Mayor Chris Watts, Mayor Pro Tem Gerard Hudspeth, and Council Members Keely Briggs, Jesse
Davis, John Ryan, Deb Armintor and Paul Meltzer will be participating in the closed meeting via
video/teleconference.
After determining that a quorum is present and pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551, V.T.C.A.,
Government Code, the Mayor & City Council will convene in an Emergency Meeting Tuesday, June 2, 2020,
at 12:00 p.m. in the Council Work Session Room at City Hall, 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas to
discuss the following:
1. Closed Meeting:
A. ID 20-1073 Deliberate regarding Security - Under Texas Government Code Section 551.089 and
