WEBVTT

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:14.000
 Good morning. I'm going to, seeing that we have a quorum, I'm going to call this meeting of the Mobility Committee of the City of Denton to order at 9.02.

00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:20.000
 Let's jump right in and take on item A, consider approval of the minutes of the meeting held September 10th.

00:00:20.000 --> 00:00:22.000
 I recommend approval.

00:00:22.000 --> 00:00:24.000
 I'll second. All in favor?

00:00:24.000 --> 00:00:25.000
 Aye.

00:00:25.000 --> 00:00:27.000
 Aye. All opposed?

00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:29.000
 All right, we're good.

00:00:29.000 --> 00:00:31.000
 That's not John either.

00:00:31.000 --> 00:00:33.000
 It is John.

00:00:33.000 --> 00:00:35.000
 Well, it is, right?

00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:39.000
 Are we okay with the sequence as presented in the agenda?

00:00:39.000 --> 00:00:40.000
 Yes.

00:00:40.000 --> 00:00:43.000
 Okay, that's what we're going to item B.

00:00:43.000 --> 00:00:47.000
 Very much looking forward to hearing from our Attorney-Champion Nicole Becker.

00:00:47.000 --> 00:00:50.000
 Becker, sorry, can't say her name. It's been too long.

00:00:50.000 --> 00:00:51.000
 It's been too long.

00:00:51.000 --> 00:00:55.000
 Receive a report and hold the discussion regarding updates to the Denton 9 Transportation Authority.

00:00:55.000 --> 00:00:57.000
 Yes, good morning.

00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:02.000
 So, I have received a list of a few items that the committee had wanted some updates on.

00:01:02.000 --> 00:01:05.000
 And so we do have a few updates there.

00:01:05.000 --> 00:01:11.000
 And then I would just like to talk about some of the things that we're doing in the City of Denton, just to keep the committee aware.

00:01:11.000 --> 00:01:15.000
 So, on the 17th of September...

00:01:15.000 --> 00:01:17.000
 Excuse me, sorry to interrupt you.

00:01:17.000 --> 00:01:19.000
 You don't need the mic.

00:01:19.000 --> 00:01:21.000
 Oh, this mic doesn't matter?

00:01:21.000 --> 00:01:23.000
 It doesn't matter anymore.

00:01:23.000 --> 00:01:24.000
 Okay.

00:01:24.000 --> 00:01:27.000
 Oh, so we can just turn it to the side.

00:01:27.000 --> 00:01:29.000
 Just like that one.

00:01:29.000 --> 00:01:30.000
 Yeah.

00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:32.000
 Are we okay with the minutes?

00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:34.000
 Okay.

00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:36.000
 Please, Karen.

00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:46.000
 So, on September 17th, Raymond Torres, our CEO, gave an update to the City Council about some of our bus stop pads, benches, and shelters.

00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:48.000
 And so I just want to provide an update.

00:01:48.000 --> 00:01:58.000
 DCT is currently working with our member cities to do an overall kind of an efficiency study to kind of look at all of our modes of transit,

00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:06.000
 how we are separating those modes of transit, how are staffing levels in accordance with those levels of transit.

00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:17.000
 And so as a part of that, we're going to be looking at our service delivery as a whole and looking to see what implementation schedule we should look at for modifying that service.

00:02:17.000 --> 00:02:26.000
 And as a part of that, we will include any change in stops, any sort of like bus benches or any shelters.

00:02:26.000 --> 00:02:35.000
 And so we should know more about that in the next handful of months because we're pretty deep into that, into the start of that efficiency study right now.

00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:46.000
 So I know that there has been some hesitation to go out there and put any permanent fixtures in place if the plan is in a handful of months to make alterations to some of those schedules.

00:02:46.000 --> 00:03:02.000
 If there are particular locations that you're interested in, please let me know because I can forward those on and work with our operations team and our planning and development team to see if we have any stock for like benches, shelters,

00:03:02.000 --> 00:03:08.000
 what the infrastructure is at those particular locations and see what we can kind of do in the interim.

00:03:08.000 --> 00:03:13.000
 So more to come on that. I will continue to update the committee on those items.

00:03:13.000 --> 00:03:20.000
 The second item that was requested of an update was the Colorado breaker pedestrian and trail crossing.

00:03:20.000 --> 00:03:25.000
 And so I did want to provide an update on that. So DCTA is working with the city.

00:03:25.000 --> 00:03:30.000
 We've kind of taken individual roles to make the whole thing happen.

00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:37.000
 So the city is going to install the pedestrian crossing lights and the striping and then the city, then DCTA is going to handle all of the concrete work.

00:03:37.000 --> 00:03:44.000
 And so I do know that the city is placed in order for equipment. And right now we're slated to begin work at the end of the month.

00:03:44.000 --> 00:03:47.000
 So that's accurate.

00:03:47.000 --> 00:03:54.000
 And then the third item was the Bonnie raise service route changes due to the construction completion schedule.

00:03:54.000 --> 00:03:58.000
 And so Troy and really with our operations department is here.

00:03:58.000 --> 00:04:05.000
 He's actually going to go out today and check out that area and then we'll provide Mario with an update via email.

00:04:05.000 --> 00:04:09.000
 And if you can distribute that to the committee.

00:04:09.000 --> 00:04:16.000
 So if there are no questions on those three items, I'd like to give the committee just an update on some of the things that we're doing in the city of Denton.

00:04:16.000 --> 00:04:18.000
 Yeah, OK.

00:04:18.000 --> 00:04:25.000
 Just on the bus stops and the shelters, because I've seen shelters that are at bus stops that are closed.

00:04:25.000 --> 00:04:36.000
 OK, so is it possible to review some of those if those stops aren't going to open? So that way, I mean, is that included in the efficiency study?

00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:43.000
 Yes. OK. Yes. But let me let me find out because we can look at our inventory and see where those are.

00:04:43.000 --> 00:04:51.000
 I can get you a specific update on what the plan is for those individual stops that are closed.

00:04:51.000 --> 00:04:58.000
 They're just empty, wasting. Yeah, let me find out because I know a lot of times when we look at installing benches and shelters,

00:04:58.000 --> 00:05:05.000
 there's some ADA infrastructure that has to be in place in order to not only put them in, but to make them accessible.

00:05:05.000 --> 00:05:08.000
 And so sometimes there's a little bit of hold up with that.

00:05:08.000 --> 00:05:12.000
 But let me find out about the ones that are no longer in use because we may have a plan for them.

00:05:12.000 --> 00:05:17.000
 And I'm just not aware of it. I've only been back for three weeks. This is the start of my fourth week.

00:05:17.000 --> 00:05:23.000
 But let me check them out and I will include that in the update tomorrow if you can distribute that to the committee. Sure.

00:05:23.000 --> 00:05:34.000
 So everybody knows the state. Yes, sir. So I'll just share a comment that I said when Mr. Suarez came in as well.

00:05:34.000 --> 00:05:41.000
 I hope that as you're looking at the efficiency of the system, you also still are aiming for increasing ridership

00:05:41.000 --> 00:05:50.000
 and understanding the barriers and Mr. Suarez did talk about how some of the new kinds of service have resulted in increases in ridership.

00:05:50.000 --> 00:05:54.000
 Yes. That's sort of the intentional goal. Absolutely.

00:05:54.000 --> 00:06:01.000
 Looking at the on demand, the first last mile connections is a primary component of that efficiency study.

00:06:01.000 --> 00:06:05.000
 And finding out where does it really make sense that you have a fixed route schedule versus on demand?

00:06:05.000 --> 00:06:09.000
 And where can we increase ridership in looking at those on demand services?

00:06:09.000 --> 00:06:18.000
 One of those areas that we're looking at currently, we have a zone called the Denton Airport Zone, Dent Enterprise Airport Zone.

00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:22.000
 And right now, ridership is not as high as what we would like to see.

00:06:22.000 --> 00:06:29.000
 And so we're looking at ways that we can modify that in the next few coming months to kind of increase that zone

00:06:29.000 --> 00:06:33.000
 or modify that zone to include Razor Ranch to potentially increase ridership there.

00:06:33.000 --> 00:06:40.000
 So we have a lot more flexibility when it comes to our zones as far as moving them and not doing them in conjunction with a major service change.

00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:46.000
 And so that's one of the areas that we're looking at just in the interim while we're doing the efficiency study.

00:06:46.000 --> 00:06:50.000
 So hopefully we'll see some increase there once we have a final recommended plan.

00:06:50.000 --> 00:07:00.000
 Is there any kind of initiative or effort specifically to identify what the barriers to increased ridership are?

00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:06.000
 I mean, I would say they're subjective. I mean, I think it depends who you talk to.

00:07:06.000 --> 00:07:13.000
 I mean, sometimes it's going to be fixed routes. Sometimes it's going to be the cost of the ride.

00:07:13.000 --> 00:07:20.000
 Sometimes it's going to be gas prices, the fact that we're in Texas and everybody likes their large vehicle

00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:30.000
 versus, you know, using transit as kind of like in an eight, you know, cents, you know, places like New York.

00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:36.000
 And obviously people are going to use transit much more frequently than they would ever think about using a car.

00:07:36.000 --> 00:07:41.000
 So I don't think you can drill it down to one specific reason why there is a decrease in ridership.

00:07:41.000 --> 00:07:48.000
 I think it's probably there. It's a collective reason.

00:07:48.000 --> 00:07:53.000
 I would say, to be completely honest, we struggle without internally being able to answer that one question.

00:07:53.000 --> 00:07:59.000
 And I think transit agencies across the country struggle to answer that question with one specific answer.

00:07:59.000 --> 00:08:03.000
 So I think it's probably a collection of reasons.

00:08:03.000 --> 00:08:14.000
 My suggestion would be to identify target profiles of customers that you would think would be gainable.

00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:18.000
 If I were in your shoes, I'd probably start with some focus groups.

00:08:18.000 --> 00:08:27.000
 That will be hard. Yes. Part of the efficiency study will be focus groups with our stakeholders and also with passengers.

00:08:27.000 --> 00:08:30.000
 So hopefully we'll gain a lot of insight from that.

00:08:30.000 --> 00:08:32.000
 So maybe adding potential passengers, non-passengers.

00:08:32.000 --> 00:08:33.000
 Yes.

00:08:33.000 --> 00:08:34.000
 What would it take?

00:08:34.000 --> 00:08:35.000
 Okay.

00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:36.000
 You're a marketer.

00:08:36.000 --> 00:08:37.000
 Yeah, we'll include that for sure.

00:08:37.000 --> 00:08:38.000
 That way it will.

00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:39.000
 Absolutely.

00:08:39.000 --> 00:08:40.000
 Thanks.

00:08:40.000 --> 00:08:41.000
 Yeah.

00:08:41.000 --> 00:08:43.000
 And you had more you wanted to share with us.

00:08:43.000 --> 00:08:46.000
 So everyone knows that it's State Fair of Texas time.

00:08:46.000 --> 00:08:49.000
 We've got a big weekend coming up, Texas OU weekend.

00:08:49.000 --> 00:08:52.000
 DCTA is offering a bundle deal.

00:08:52.000 --> 00:08:57.000
 We've actually sold over 300 of these bundles thus far just in the last few weeks.

00:08:57.000 --> 00:09:05.000
 It's $16.50 and you get a local DCTA pass, a local DART pass, and a State Fair of Texas ticket.

00:09:05.000 --> 00:09:09.000
 So that's about a $28 value that you're getting for $16.50.

00:09:09.000 --> 00:09:11.000
 And so we just like to let people know.

00:09:11.000 --> 00:09:15.000
 You can buy them at the DDTC, but it's a really great bundle.

00:09:15.000 --> 00:09:19.000
 We just had to purchase more tickets because it's been so successful.

00:09:19.000 --> 00:09:23.000
 So if you guys know of anybody or if you and your families are going to the State Fair,

00:09:23.000 --> 00:09:25.000
 we encourage you to use Transit to get there.

00:09:25.000 --> 00:09:32.000
 Also, Veterans Day on November 11th, we are doing our annual Veterans Day free ride promo.

00:09:32.000 --> 00:09:39.000
 So you can ride any of our Connect bus services, the A-Train, or any of our Zone services free

00:09:39.000 --> 00:09:43.000
 as long as you have a military ID.

00:09:43.000 --> 00:09:45.000
 So we are offering that promotion.

00:09:45.000 --> 00:09:49.000
 And then moving into December, I can't believe we're talking about December,

00:09:49.000 --> 00:09:54.000
 but we're also working on the holiday lighting in Wasselfest

00:09:54.000 --> 00:09:57.000
 and the Holiday Express with the Denton County Friends of the Family.

00:09:57.000 --> 00:10:00.000
 So be looking for those two events and DCTA's involvement.

00:10:00.000 --> 00:10:05.000
 We do a lot of free ride promos where you just use a code word, so we're really excited about that.

00:10:05.000 --> 00:10:07.000
 You talk about focus groups.

00:10:07.000 --> 00:10:11.000
 One of the areas where we do like to garner community feedback

00:10:11.000 --> 00:10:15.000
 is through our Quarterly Social Service Agency roundtable forums.

00:10:15.000 --> 00:10:20.000
 And I know the city is very in tune with those and sends representatives,

00:10:20.000 --> 00:10:22.000
 but we have them coming up in November.

00:10:22.000 --> 00:10:26.000
 So the one in Lewisville is November 6th and the one in Denton is November 7th,

00:10:26.000 --> 00:10:28.000
 and they're held in the morning.

00:10:28.000 --> 00:10:32.000
 And it's just an opportunity for nonprofits.

00:10:32.000 --> 00:10:36.000
 We bring in the libraries, rec centers, anybody can attend.

00:10:36.000 --> 00:10:41.000
 It's just a roundtable forum for us to talk about how transit services

00:10:41.000 --> 00:10:45.000
 are positively impacting those who are sitting around the table

00:10:45.000 --> 00:10:49.000
 or if there's a need and maybe that transit isn't addressing those needs.

00:10:49.000 --> 00:10:55.000
 So we really try to have an open discussion and walk away with an action item list

00:10:55.000 --> 00:11:00.000
 of things that we can go back, talk about it, and provide updates to the group.

00:11:00.000 --> 00:11:04.000
 So please know that those are available and anybody is welcome to attend.

00:11:04.000 --> 00:11:06.000
 When you send the updates on the other items,

00:11:06.000 --> 00:11:09.000
 would you just send kind of a listing of these major dates?

00:11:09.000 --> 00:11:10.000
 Sure.

00:11:10.000 --> 00:11:11.000
 Because we'll include that in council packet.

00:11:11.000 --> 00:11:14.000
 I know that DRC picks that up and can help promote that.

00:11:14.000 --> 00:11:16.000
 Yeah, absolutely. Thank you.

00:11:16.000 --> 00:11:21.000
 And then just lastly, on October 14th, we are doing a public meeting

00:11:21.000 --> 00:11:24.000
 in conjunction with the North Central Texas Council of Governments

00:11:24.000 --> 00:11:29.000
 to promote our program of projects, which talks about our grant funding

00:11:29.000 --> 00:11:31.000
 and how we plan to use that grant funding.

00:11:31.000 --> 00:11:33.000
 And so we just like to let everybody know that that's available.

00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:35.000
 The presentation is online.

00:11:35.000 --> 00:11:37.000
 And if you have any questions about that, you can ask us.

00:11:37.000 --> 00:11:39.000
 You can provide feedback online.

00:11:39.000 --> 00:11:42.000
 But we do present that in the fall every year.

00:11:42.000 --> 00:11:44.000
 And so that's coming up.

00:11:44.000 --> 00:11:46.000
 So that concludes my update.

00:11:46.000 --> 00:11:49.000
 Other than I'm extremely grateful to be back and so glad to see everybody.

00:11:49.000 --> 00:11:52.000
 So thank you for having me.

00:11:52.000 --> 00:11:54.000
 Yeah, John.

00:11:54.000 --> 00:11:59.000
 On the State Fair promotion, is there any increase in the number of trains

00:11:59.000 --> 00:12:02.000
 or the timing of the train in the evening?

00:12:02.000 --> 00:12:07.000
 Are there any plans for stranded passengers who don't get back in time

00:12:07.000 --> 00:12:09.000
 and they're stuck at the train mills?

00:12:09.000 --> 00:12:11.000
 So we have not modified our train schedule.

00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:13.000
 There are more green line schedules.

00:12:13.000 --> 00:12:15.000
 So DART has increased their schedule.

00:12:15.000 --> 00:12:19.000
 Typically in the past, and I can confirm with Troy,

00:12:19.000 --> 00:12:23.000
 for those late night trains, the ones where the green line drops off

00:12:23.000 --> 00:12:27.000
 at Trinity Mills and we don't have a connection any further to get you

00:12:27.000 --> 00:12:30.000
 back up to Denton or along the rail line,

00:12:30.000 --> 00:12:33.000
 we have put relief buses there in the past.

00:12:33.000 --> 00:12:36.000
 We haven't had any problems that I've heard of thus far.

00:12:36.000 --> 00:12:38.000
 I don't know if you haven't heard of any issues.

00:12:38.000 --> 00:12:42.000
 But typically our supervisors are well aware that this promotion is going on

00:12:42.000 --> 00:12:46.000
 and that this is an issue that we do experience sometimes.

00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:50.000
 I think maybe last year we had like one or two people that we had to bus back

00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:56.000
 because they took a late DART train that couldn't connect to DCT's A train.

00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:58.000
 So we're pretty in tune with it.

00:12:58.000 --> 00:13:00.000
 There's staff there available.

00:13:00.000 --> 00:13:03.000
 But if there is a need to get somebody back up north that we can get them north.

00:13:03.000 --> 00:13:07.000
 Currently we are addressing the passengers,

00:13:07.000 --> 00:13:10.000
 inquiring if they are going to the state fair.

00:13:10.000 --> 00:13:14.000
 And we're also making them aware of what time the last train is back.

00:13:14.000 --> 00:13:19.000
 So we're giving them that notice before they're going to town.

00:13:19.000 --> 00:13:20.000
 Correct.

00:13:20.000 --> 00:13:23.000
 And in the brochure that has the schedule, we also highlight,

00:13:23.000 --> 00:13:26.000
 this is the last A train schedule heading back north.

00:13:26.000 --> 00:13:31.000
 But it's pretty few and far between that we've had any issues.

00:13:31.000 --> 00:13:33.000
 Anything else?

00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:34.000
 Thank you.

00:13:34.000 --> 00:13:36.000
 Thank you.

00:13:36.000 --> 00:13:37.000
 All right.

00:13:37.000 --> 00:13:41.000
 Item C. Receive a report and hold a discussion about a city of Denton mobility plan.

00:13:41.000 --> 00:13:47.000
 Work completed and future task items.

00:13:47.000 --> 00:13:49.000
 Good morning.

00:13:49.000 --> 00:13:53.000
 Pamela Mitchell, traffic engineer at the city.

00:13:53.000 --> 00:13:57.000
 And today I have a very general, quick update,

00:13:57.000 --> 00:14:02.000
 because we are tentatively having a work session October 22nd.

00:14:02.000 --> 00:14:05.000
 If we can make the agenda, we'll be going to early November.

00:14:05.000 --> 00:14:13.000
 But that would be very technical and we will be updated with all that we've been working on.

00:14:13.000 --> 00:14:16.000
 So what has been completed since our last meeting?

00:14:16.000 --> 00:14:20.000
 We had four very productive meetings.

00:14:20.000 --> 00:14:26.000
 The first one we had our second technical stakeholder meeting on September 12th,

00:14:26.000 --> 00:14:28.000
 and that was very productive.

00:14:28.000 --> 00:14:33.000
 We received a lot of good feedback on the draft maps of their bike

00:14:33.000 --> 00:14:38.000
 and how we're prioritizing the pedestrian map.

00:14:38.000 --> 00:14:46.000
 We also came and presented on September 19th to the Committee on Persons with Disabilities.

00:14:46.000 --> 00:14:47.000
 Very good discussion.

00:14:47.000 --> 00:14:53.000
 They had a lot of good feedback on sidewalks, how to get around the city.

00:14:53.000 --> 00:14:59.000
 As far as sidewalk prioritization, they recommended we were focusing on schools.

00:14:59.000 --> 00:15:05.000
 They also would like for us to focus on major destinations on a day-to-day basis.

00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:12.000
 So we're definitely going to look into that option as we work on the pedestrian plan.

00:15:12.000 --> 00:15:17.000
 We had a separate meeting with the Planning Department on September 20th.

00:15:17.000 --> 00:15:21.000
 They're part of the Stakeholder Technical Committee.

00:15:21.000 --> 00:15:30.000
 But we felt that we needed to have a separate meeting with them to really get a feel for all the development that's coming in,

00:15:30.000 --> 00:15:37.000
 what has already planned for the Broadway network, and making sure it all ties in.

00:15:37.000 --> 00:15:43.000
 And there aren't any huge issues once this draft is presented to Council.

00:15:43.000 --> 00:15:48.000
 And then recently we had a bicycle focus group meeting on September 25th.

00:15:48.000 --> 00:15:54.000
 This was an idea presented by Mark Golfin, the bike and ped coordinator.

00:15:54.000 --> 00:15:56.000
 It was a great turnout.

00:15:56.000 --> 00:16:00.000
 I believe it was like 25 people showed up at the bike shop near the square.

00:16:00.000 --> 00:16:03.000
 And they had a lot of good feedback.

00:16:03.000 --> 00:16:08.000
 And as a result, the bike plan was updated because of that meeting.

00:16:08.000 --> 00:16:11.000
 Any question on those meetings?

00:16:11.000 --> 00:16:19.000
 Would you mind sharing maybe a headline or two preliminarily on the persons with disabilities and the bike group,

00:16:19.000 --> 00:16:26.000
 just particular major points that were a-has?

00:16:26.000 --> 00:16:39.000
 So the persons with disabilities, they did bring up the DCTA stations at just the major destinations.

00:16:39.000 --> 00:16:46.000
 They mentioned preferring six-foot wire sidewalks, things like that.

00:16:46.000 --> 00:16:48.000
 Nothing really particular.

00:16:48.000 --> 00:16:53.000
 Of course, university is always a concern of theirs.

00:16:53.000 --> 00:16:57.000
 The bicycle meeting was not there particularly.

00:16:57.000 --> 00:17:01.000
 And I have the meeting with the team this afternoon.

00:17:01.000 --> 00:17:06.000
 So they'll probably go into depth of what they heard and their feedback.

00:17:06.000 --> 00:17:12.000
 But all of that will be presented at the work session with Council at the end of the month.

00:17:12.000 --> 00:17:13.000
 Thanks.

00:17:13.000 --> 00:17:17.000
 If we want, we can add a blurb to the Friday packet just to understand what it was.

00:17:17.000 --> 00:17:18.000
 Yeah.

00:17:18.000 --> 00:17:20.000
 A couple sentences of the meeting highlights.

00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:21.000
 Sure.

00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:23.000
 We'll do that.

00:17:23.000 --> 00:17:31.000
 I can do that.

00:17:31.000 --> 00:17:39.000
 So upcoming, we will be closing the citizen feedback survey, the interactive map this Friday

00:17:39.000 --> 00:17:46.000
 because we're wrapping up all the results, the maps, plans that we can present to Council at the end of the month,

00:17:46.000 --> 00:17:51.000
 early November.

00:17:51.000 --> 00:17:58.000
 Any feedback on what you're looking to see at the work session?

00:17:58.000 --> 00:18:01.000
 I can relate to the project team.

00:18:01.000 --> 00:18:04.000
 Any questions that you would like answered in the blurb?

00:18:04.000 --> 00:18:05.000
 Council Member Briggs?

00:18:05.000 --> 00:18:06.000
 I'm not necessarily in the blurb.

00:18:06.000 --> 00:18:12.000
 Just a suggestion or a request that you talk to the sustainability department

00:18:12.000 --> 00:18:21.000
 because we had a meeting yesterday about reducing carbon and becoming less dependent or more neutral.

00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:30.000
 And part of the suggestions were bicycle and also since DCT is here, I'd like to mention,

00:18:30.000 --> 00:18:32.000
 public transportation on that.

00:18:32.000 --> 00:18:38.000
 And so as we try to reach our goals in the same sustainability,

00:18:38.000 --> 00:18:43.000
 just having those partnerships with other departments and other organizations in the community

00:18:43.000 --> 00:18:45.000
 are going to be extremely important.

00:18:45.000 --> 00:18:52.000
 And as we update this plan, the amount of miles for bicycles and pedestrian added

00:18:52.000 --> 00:18:55.000
 can take that many more cars off the road.

00:18:55.000 --> 00:19:01.000
 So if there is a communication that can happen as you do this update with our sustainability,

00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:03.000
 that would be really great.

00:19:03.000 --> 00:19:04.000
 Okay.

00:19:04.000 --> 00:19:05.000
 I'll definitely reach out to them.

00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:06.000
 Thank you.

00:19:06.000 --> 00:19:11.000
 Any very specific targets in these areas that would be good if it's safe?

00:19:11.000 --> 00:19:18.000
 Well, one thing we can do also too is, you know, since this portal is closing later this week,

00:19:18.000 --> 00:19:23.000
 you know, certainly reach out to those departments to push it out to those folks that are volunteers

00:19:23.000 --> 00:19:29.000
 that just work through that process to help respond to the survey and just get more feedback from citizens.

00:19:29.000 --> 00:19:31.000
 Another option.

00:19:31.000 --> 00:19:32.000
 Also a good thing.

00:19:32.000 --> 00:19:40.000
 Council Member Briggs was referring to, it's very specific policy guidance that will come out of sustainability.

00:19:40.000 --> 00:19:42.000
 So we're coordinating.

00:19:42.000 --> 00:19:44.000
 Definitely.

00:19:44.000 --> 00:19:46.000
 Okay.

00:19:46.000 --> 00:19:47.000
 Okay.

00:19:47.000 --> 00:19:48.000
 Thank you.

00:19:48.000 --> 00:19:51.000
 Thank you.

00:19:51.000 --> 00:19:53.000
 It's your time.

00:19:53.000 --> 00:19:54.000
 Bye.

00:19:54.000 --> 00:19:55.000
 Right.

00:19:55.000 --> 00:19:56.000
 Indeed.

00:19:56.000 --> 00:20:01.000
 Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding text-on-line system projects in that area.

00:20:01.000 --> 00:20:02.000
 Okay.

00:20:02.000 --> 00:20:03.000
 Thank you.

00:20:03.000 --> 00:20:04.000
 Thank you.

00:20:04.000 --> 00:20:05.000
 Thank you.

00:20:05.000 --> 00:20:06.000
 Thank you.

00:20:06.000 --> 00:20:07.000
 Thank you.

00:20:07.000 --> 00:20:08.000
 Thank you.

00:20:08.000 --> 00:20:09.000
 Thank you.

00:20:09.000 --> 00:20:10.000
 Thank you.

00:20:10.000 --> 00:20:11.000
 Thank you.

00:20:11.000 --> 00:20:12.000
 Thank you.

00:20:12.000 --> 00:20:13.000
 Thank you.

00:20:13.000 --> 00:20:14.000
 Thank you.

00:20:14.000 --> 00:20:15.000
 Thank you.

00:20:15.000 --> 00:20:16.000
 Thank you.

00:20:16.000 --> 00:20:17.000
 Thank you.

00:20:17.000 --> 00:20:18.000
 Thank you.

00:20:18.000 --> 00:20:19.000
 Thank you.

00:20:19.000 --> 00:20:20.000
 Thank you.

00:20:20.000 --> 00:20:21.000
 Thank you.

00:20:21.000 --> 00:20:22.000
 Thank you.

00:20:22.000 --> 00:20:23.000
 Thank you.

00:20:23.000 --> 00:20:24.000
 Thank you.

00:20:24.000 --> 00:20:25.000
 Thank you.

00:20:25.000 --> 00:20:26.000
 Thank you.

00:20:26.000 --> 00:20:27.000
 Thank you.

00:20:27.000 --> 00:20:28.000
 Thank you.

00:20:28.000 --> 00:20:29.000
 Okay.

00:20:29.000 --> 00:20:30.000
 So we'll get right to the good stuff.

00:20:30.000 --> 00:20:37.000
 We're working on about $2.5 billion worth of projects within the city of Denton.

00:20:37.000 --> 00:20:39.000
 Zachary signed the contract.

00:20:39.000 --> 00:20:44.000
 Actually, Berkshire Hathaway signed the contract on November 7th, earlier this week, and they

00:20:44.000 --> 00:20:48.000
 will be -- they're currently out of their mobile license, so they will be -- the good

00:20:48.000 --> 00:20:52.000
 news is they'll be back at work very shortly.

00:20:52.000 --> 00:20:58.000
 The kind of bad news is they've got all the time back, so it's like starting over.

00:20:58.000 --> 00:21:01.000
 So it's 500-something days.

00:21:01.000 --> 00:21:04.000
 October 7th or no?

00:21:04.000 --> 00:21:05.000
 What did I say?

00:21:05.000 --> 00:21:06.000
 You said November.

00:21:06.000 --> 00:21:09.000
 They signed the contract in October.

00:21:09.000 --> 00:21:16.000
 Zachary will be back on -- and I know it says fully executed, but Berkshire Hathaway signed

00:21:16.000 --> 00:21:21.000
 it on November -- I mean, October 4th, and then Zachary signs their contract with Berkshire

00:21:21.000 --> 00:21:23.000
 on the 7th and then mobilizes.

00:21:23.000 --> 00:21:25.000
 So it's a two-step process.

00:21:25.000 --> 00:21:26.000
 Okay.

00:21:26.000 --> 00:21:31.000
 Did I make that up pretty good?

00:21:31.000 --> 00:21:35.000
 I remember in part of our conversation, we were talking about all the work that had been

00:21:35.000 --> 00:21:38.000
 done and the materials that were laying on the side of the road.

00:21:38.000 --> 00:21:41.000
 Are they going to have to be redone and replaced?

00:21:41.000 --> 00:21:42.000
 Yes.

00:21:42.000 --> 00:21:49.000
 Well, the work that's already done that's in the ground, Berkshire Hathaway has to accept

00:21:49.000 --> 00:21:50.000
 and warranty.

00:21:50.000 --> 00:21:56.000
 The work that's -- the material that's still laying out that was for the city's utilities,

00:21:56.000 --> 00:22:01.000
 the city is not accepting that material, and as long as they don't change, if we're thinking

00:22:01.000 --> 00:22:06.000
 about changing their specs, it's up to -- and that was part of the deal with Berkshire,

00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:08.000
 they have to replace the material.

00:22:08.000 --> 00:22:11.000
 So that's part of this redo.

00:22:11.000 --> 00:22:14.000
 So that's good.

00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:15.000
 Yes.

00:22:15.000 --> 00:22:24.000
 So a forward drive project, and as you know, the main critical item on this project is

00:22:24.000 --> 00:22:30.000
 the road crossing and the shoe flag, and they're laying down the track even as we speak.

00:22:30.000 --> 00:22:39.000
 The traffic will switch this Thursday to the new concrete pavement south of the railroad.

00:22:39.000 --> 00:22:40.000
 So they'll be split.

00:22:40.000 --> 00:22:43.000
 They'll take the southbound traffic and move them onto the new temporary pavement, and

00:22:43.000 --> 00:22:47.000
 then they'll be working in the middle, similar to what they've been doing north of the railroad

00:22:47.000 --> 00:22:48.000
 track.

00:22:48.000 --> 00:22:54.000
 And we think that this contract is probably going to get delayed because we had some delays

00:22:54.000 --> 00:22:59.000
 early on in the project, but we don't know exactly, but we know that it will probably

00:22:59.000 --> 00:23:01.000
 be not November of 2020.

00:23:01.000 --> 00:23:08.000
 It may slip a couple of months, but we still have time to try to catch that up.

00:23:08.000 --> 00:23:17.000
 Do we know just south of Daniels on this project, there's like a 100-foot strip that they didn't

00:23:17.000 --> 00:23:20.000
 put the temporary pavement on?

00:23:20.000 --> 00:23:23.000
 Do we know who's held up that is?

00:23:23.000 --> 00:23:24.000
 I don't.

00:23:24.000 --> 00:23:25.000
 I can check on that.

00:23:25.000 --> 00:23:28.000
 I mean, because they've got the temporary pavement all the way down to Country Club,

00:23:28.000 --> 00:23:35.000
 except for this 100-foot strip right by the trailer park that, as far as switching sides,

00:23:35.000 --> 00:23:40.000
 I'm just wondering, who's at fault for that, or what is the reason for that not having

00:23:40.000 --> 00:23:41.000
 been?

00:23:41.000 --> 00:23:42.000
 Okay.

00:23:42.000 --> 00:23:43.000
 I can check on that.

00:23:43.000 --> 00:23:44.000
 I don't know.

00:23:44.000 --> 00:23:45.000
 I can find out Thursday.

00:23:45.000 --> 00:23:46.000
 Oh, that's right.

00:23:46.000 --> 00:23:47.000
 Thursday.

00:23:47.000 --> 00:23:48.000
 Yeah.

00:23:48.000 --> 00:23:49.000
 All right.

00:23:49.000 --> 00:23:52.000
 You may know 35E job.

00:23:52.000 --> 00:23:55.000
 This was November of 2020.

00:23:55.000 --> 00:24:01.000
 We're now moving into May of '21 because of the additional parcels we have to acquire

00:24:01.000 --> 00:24:08.000
 in this section of the project up to the 288 project, so it gives us a little bit of time

00:24:08.000 --> 00:24:13.000
 between when the OHL job gets done and this one starts, so we'll get them used to having

00:24:13.000 --> 00:24:18.000
 a nice road, and then we'll tear it all apart again.

00:24:18.000 --> 00:24:20.000
 OHL will be done by then?

00:24:20.000 --> 00:24:22.000
 I think so, because did you drive it today?

00:24:22.000 --> 00:24:23.000
 Because they've switched the traffic.

00:24:23.000 --> 00:24:26.000
 I was fixing to tell you that.

00:24:26.000 --> 00:24:27.000
 Traffic has been switched.

00:24:27.000 --> 00:24:32.000
 You now can drive on the southbound main lanes in the southbound side.

00:24:32.000 --> 00:24:37.000
 They've got the center still blocked out because they're going to put the concrete center barrier

00:24:37.000 --> 00:24:39.000
 up, and then re-strap it.

00:24:39.000 --> 00:24:43.000
 The northbound on-ramp from 288 is physically there.

00:24:43.000 --> 00:24:49.000
 They've got to do some strapping as well on that, and the southbound ramp is almost all

00:24:49.000 --> 00:24:52.000
 there, permanent for the mega-lex.

00:24:52.000 --> 00:24:59.000
 So within days, maybe 10 or so, we should start to see traffic get relieved around the

00:24:59.000 --> 00:25:06.000
 288 because of the work that they're doing to switch the traffic, because they couldn't

00:25:06.000 --> 00:25:09.000
 do the ramps until they moved the traffic to the southbound.

00:25:09.000 --> 00:25:11.000
 Now the ramps are physically there.

00:25:11.000 --> 00:25:15.000
 They've got to come in and do some strapping, which when they do the strapping, they'll

00:25:15.000 --> 00:25:23.000
 also fix the strapping at Dallas Drive to make it one lane, and we are working with

00:25:23.000 --> 00:25:30.000
 city staff on a permanent solution to that Dallas Drive intersection so we don't have

00:25:30.000 --> 00:25:33.000
 to go through Cowboys parking lot to get around.

00:25:33.000 --> 00:25:41.000
 So we're going to look at a permanent infrastructure improvement there next.

00:25:41.000 --> 00:25:50.000
 I had a question about that, because the breaker looks like it's ready to open, but we're

00:25:50.000 --> 00:25:54.000
 told that it will not until the light comes in, the signal.

00:25:54.000 --> 00:25:58.000
 And so if we can have an update on where that is.

00:25:58.000 --> 00:26:06.000
 I think we've ordered the equipment to be in place, and then we're working on the agreement

00:26:06.000 --> 00:26:11.000
 with Textile, so we have kind of a verbal agreement that, yes, we're going to move forward

00:26:11.000 --> 00:26:16.000
 as quickly as possible while we go through the process of getting it on council and signing

00:26:16.000 --> 00:26:24.000
 up, but our goal is to get that intersection going in the next 30 days, which is what we

00:26:24.000 --> 00:26:26.000
 promised traffic safety yesterday.

00:26:26.000 --> 00:26:29.000
 So Textile's lending the city the temporary poles.

00:26:29.000 --> 00:26:31.000
 The city's still got to order them.

00:26:31.000 --> 00:26:34.000
 There's a six or seven week lag in delivery.

00:26:34.000 --> 00:26:37.000
 Once they get them, they'll just give those poles back to Textile.

00:26:37.000 --> 00:26:44.000
 So we're trying to do everything we can, because we know it's like a Christmas tree, right?

00:26:44.000 --> 00:26:48.000
 Right before Christmas, where all the presents are under it, because it's perfectly usable.

00:26:48.000 --> 00:26:49.000
 It's striped.

00:26:49.000 --> 00:26:50.000
 It's ready to go.

00:26:50.000 --> 00:26:54.000
 But it's just we can't open it without a signal, and people are -- we've asked -- you'll

00:26:54.000 --> 00:26:56.000
 hear again, I think, on Thursday.

00:26:56.000 --> 00:27:04.000
 We've asked -- didn't find us to actively patrol it, because people are -- they're just taking

00:27:04.000 --> 00:27:06.000
 it, and it's too tempting.

00:27:06.000 --> 00:27:11.000
 So we're really moving on that, doing every trick we can to get this thing done as quickly

00:27:11.000 --> 00:27:12.000
 as possible.

00:27:12.000 --> 00:27:15.000
 OHL would not accept the work.

00:27:15.000 --> 00:27:18.000
 We tried in vain, probably in my mind too long.

00:27:18.000 --> 00:27:23.000
 We tried to get them to do it, but once we realized they wouldn't, we quickly switched.

00:27:23.000 --> 00:27:26.000
 The city stepped up, said, "We can take care of it.

00:27:26.000 --> 00:27:27.000
 We need some help."

00:27:27.000 --> 00:27:28.000
 Textile says, "We can help."

00:27:28.000 --> 00:27:32.000
 And so we're still about a month behind schedule.

00:27:32.000 --> 00:27:37.000
 So for clarification, the temporary poles will be up within a month, and then the --

00:27:37.000 --> 00:27:39.000
 The whole signal should be up.

00:27:39.000 --> 00:27:40.000
 Oh, okay.

00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:42.000
 Now let us clarify the clarification.

00:27:42.000 --> 00:27:44.000
 Okay.

00:27:44.000 --> 00:27:50.000
 The temporary signals are for the current job with OHL's doing.

00:27:50.000 --> 00:27:56.000
 When Mayhill comes in and does the frontage road from Mayhill to 288, they'll put the

00:27:56.000 --> 00:28:02.000
 big, masked, big arm signals, the permanent signals up at Brinker.

00:28:02.000 --> 00:28:03.000
 So these are temporary.

00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:09.000
 These would be strand pole wire signals in the interim to keep the -- get the intersection

00:28:09.000 --> 00:28:10.000
 operational.

00:28:10.000 --> 00:28:15.000
 But then when the Mayhill job comes in, they'll take those out and put the permanents in.

00:28:15.000 --> 00:28:18.000
 But the temporary ones, we're looking at at that point.

00:28:18.000 --> 00:28:19.000
 Yes.

00:28:19.000 --> 00:28:20.000
 Thank you.

00:28:20.000 --> 00:28:26.000
 So by the time we get back to this next meeting, you can all pretend personally responsible

00:28:26.000 --> 00:28:29.000
 if it's not happening.

00:28:29.000 --> 00:28:30.000
 Okay.

00:28:30.000 --> 00:28:33.000
 On the exit ramps in this area, I haven't driven them.

00:28:33.000 --> 00:28:35.000
 They were paving it the last time I drove it.

00:28:35.000 --> 00:28:36.000
 Right.

00:28:36.000 --> 00:28:42.000
 Did they do it where it is a separate lane for the off-ramp, or is it --

00:28:42.000 --> 00:28:43.000
 No, it merges.

00:28:43.000 --> 00:28:48.000
 It's the yield-type situation for the service room.

00:28:48.000 --> 00:28:49.000
 That's the --

00:28:49.000 --> 00:28:50.000
 What are they doing?

00:28:50.000 --> 00:28:51.000
 That's the new paradigm.

00:28:51.000 --> 00:28:52.000
 That's the old paradigm, isn't it?

00:28:52.000 --> 00:28:53.000
 Well, it's the old paradigm that came back.

00:28:53.000 --> 00:28:54.000
 Is it like avocado?

00:28:54.000 --> 00:28:55.000
 The theory is, ultimately -- the color.

00:28:55.000 --> 00:28:56.000
 Yeah, okay.

00:28:56.000 --> 00:28:57.000
 Our parents were in the building business.

00:28:57.000 --> 00:28:58.000
 That's why I told you.

00:28:58.000 --> 00:28:59.000
 Power is gold.

00:28:59.000 --> 00:29:00.000
 Where was I?

00:29:00.000 --> 00:29:01.000
 The old paradigm.

00:29:01.000 --> 00:29:02.000
 Oh, paradigm.

00:29:02.000 --> 00:29:03.000
 Okay.

00:29:03.000 --> 00:29:04.000
 So, remember when we were in the building business?

00:29:04.000 --> 00:29:05.000
 Yeah.

00:29:05.000 --> 00:29:06.000
 That's the old paradigm.

00:29:06.000 --> 00:29:07.000
 The old paradigm.

00:29:07.000 --> 00:29:22.000
 So, remember, we're going, ultimately, to what they call three-two frontage roads.

00:29:22.000 --> 00:29:23.000
 Right?

00:29:23.000 --> 00:29:28.000
 So, the frontage roads will have two lanes of traffic between the intersection and the

00:29:28.000 --> 00:29:33.000
 exit ramp, three lanes of traffic between the exit ramp and the entrance ramp, and then

00:29:33.000 --> 00:29:34.000
 back to two.

00:29:34.000 --> 00:29:39.000
 So, ultimately, you'll have that third lane is supposed to be just the auxiliary for the

00:29:39.000 --> 00:29:42.000
 transition and merge traffic for on and off the freeways.

00:29:42.000 --> 00:29:49.000
 But right now, we're at a two-lane frontage road system, so we're training them poorly,

00:29:49.000 --> 00:29:56.000
 I'll have to admit, it frustrates me, that that's what it's going to be in the future.

00:29:56.000 --> 00:30:02.000
 If they haven't striped it yet, is it possible to get them to narrow it down to one lane

00:30:02.000 --> 00:30:05.000
 for free traffic?

00:30:05.000 --> 00:30:08.000
 I just know that those yield signs don't work.

00:30:08.000 --> 00:30:09.000
 Don't work.

00:30:09.000 --> 00:30:14.000
 I want to carry one in my truck and beat people to death when they don't yield.

00:30:14.000 --> 00:30:17.000
 But my wife told me that's not proper etiquette.

00:30:17.000 --> 00:30:22.000
 Northbound at Fort Worth Drive, up at 35, is perfect.

00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:26.000
 Narrow it down to one lane, you got one lane for the people coming off 35, one lane for

00:30:26.000 --> 00:30:27.000
 the people coming off 35.

00:30:27.000 --> 00:30:28.000
 Right.

00:30:28.000 --> 00:30:36.000
 We came in when they had Dallas Strip closed, and the exit ramp closed there, having them

00:30:36.000 --> 00:30:41.000
 hit Teasley and come around, we had them actually pull that striping so that we could get more

00:30:41.000 --> 00:30:44.000
 than one lane of frontage to the signal.

00:30:44.000 --> 00:30:48.000
 So, I would say on Thursday, we need to talk about that.

00:30:48.000 --> 00:30:54.000
 I think it's a pretty tough road to hoe right now, with their paradigm, because they're

00:30:54.000 --> 00:31:02.000
 going to that everywhere, the yield, as opposed to pushing them over.

00:31:02.000 --> 00:31:07.000
 So, I think that's a district-wide issue that we're going to fight.

00:31:07.000 --> 00:31:12.000
 But we can bring it up.

00:31:12.000 --> 00:31:19.000
 Alright, so your 35E, 35W Merge project, again, this project is fully funded.

00:31:19.000 --> 00:31:24.000
 We are working, the critical path item right now is not just the right-of-way and utilities,

00:31:24.000 --> 00:31:32.000
 but it's also the bridge structures, and so we've got our bridge layouts, and we anticipate

00:31:32.000 --> 00:31:36.000
 getting them to the division in January.

00:31:36.000 --> 00:31:41.000
 So, we're still looking for a January 2023 let date, and there's a lot of coordination

00:31:41.000 --> 00:31:48.000
 with this part, and then a little part to the north, to 77, on the next job, with city

00:31:48.000 --> 00:31:55.000
 utilities, and we're meeting regularly with your staff on that.

00:31:55.000 --> 00:31:58.000
 This is that little piece I was talking about.

00:31:58.000 --> 00:32:04.000
 It doesn't look little on this page, up to here, but when you look at this project, it's

00:32:04.000 --> 00:32:06.000
 just a small portion here.

00:32:06.000 --> 00:32:10.000
 So, we're going to do the wishbone, and the green for sure is one project.

00:32:10.000 --> 00:32:13.000
 We may end up doing more of this, this one project.

00:32:13.000 --> 00:32:16.000
 That's why they're close on their let dates.

00:32:16.000 --> 00:32:24.000
 But this project, we got it environmentally cleared.

00:32:24.000 --> 00:32:30.000
 Last week, I was sitting talking to TechStop at STAC, and I was lamenting that we can't

00:32:30.000 --> 00:32:36.000
 get the TechZone MPO to act, and they said they'd get an interim out-of-cycle improvement,

00:32:36.000 --> 00:32:37.000
 and we're clear.

00:32:37.000 --> 00:32:42.000
 So, we will give you the specific date on that.

00:32:42.000 --> 00:32:47.000
 So, what happens is we have to send these reports to get into your system about 10 days

00:32:47.000 --> 00:32:48.000
 prior to why it's showing up.

00:32:48.000 --> 00:32:51.000
 So, a lot of things happen between when I submit it.

00:32:51.000 --> 00:32:53.000
 So, it's not that I'm an idiot.

00:32:53.000 --> 00:32:58.000
 These are just things that change between when I submit it and when I get here.

00:32:58.000 --> 00:33:02.000
 But this has been environmentally cleared now, and we'll update that report and get

00:33:02.000 --> 00:33:03.000
 that to you.

00:33:03.000 --> 00:33:05.000
 So, we're ready to go on this project, everything.

00:33:05.000 --> 00:33:12.000
 The rideways are being acquired, and the designs are being done, and we're shooting for that

00:33:12.000 --> 00:33:13.000
 22-let date.

00:33:13.000 --> 00:33:21.000
 Okay, so your main lane project, this project, we were operational, and then we got the traffic,

00:33:21.000 --> 00:33:29.000
 started looking at the traffic, and the traffic was not right, and so we had to go back to

00:33:29.000 --> 00:33:33.000
 division, and so we're still working with TechStop.

00:33:33.000 --> 00:33:35.000
 That's what all that means.

00:33:35.000 --> 00:33:40.000
 TechStop is coordinating to be determined and update project schedules because we can't

00:33:40.000 --> 00:33:45.000
 validate any of our assumptions without the traffic, and we're having a difficult time

00:33:45.000 --> 00:33:49.000
 getting the right traffic out of Austin.

00:33:49.000 --> 00:33:56.000
 So, we're still looking at next year, having this project environmentally cleared, and

00:33:56.000 --> 00:34:00.000
 assuming we can get the traffic resolved soon.

00:34:00.000 --> 00:34:04.000
 This is the main lanes, just the main lanes.

00:34:04.000 --> 00:34:10.000
 This project is the frontage roads, and the frontage roads within Texas Motor Speedway

00:34:10.000 --> 00:34:11.000
 South are already there.

00:34:11.000 --> 00:34:14.000
 That's why it just starts there and goes north.

00:34:14.000 --> 00:34:22.000
 Jacobs is working on this project, and we are looking for spring of next year for environmental

00:34:22.000 --> 00:34:23.000
 clearance.

00:34:23.000 --> 00:34:31.000
 We're already identifying the parcels and the number of tracks that are going to be

00:34:31.000 --> 00:34:35.000
 required, and we're shooting for a left date of 2023.

00:34:35.000 --> 00:34:40.000
 The reason it says 2025 is because there's no money associated with this project yet,

00:34:40.000 --> 00:34:45.000
 but as we get it environmentally cleared in the March 2020 timeframe, I think we were

00:34:45.000 --> 00:34:52.000
 talking to staff the other day about we can pick the sections of -- we don't have to do

00:34:52.000 --> 00:34:53.000
 all 295 million.

00:34:53.000 --> 00:34:58.000
 We just have to pick sections that we want, similar to what we did in the South, where

00:34:58.000 --> 00:35:02.000
 we did the southbound frontage road to the northbound between the Eagle and 114th.

00:35:02.000 --> 00:35:06.000
 So, we can pick sections once it's cleared and focus on that.

00:35:06.000 --> 00:35:11.000
 And so, once it's cleared, we'll come back in spring next year, get with the city, say

00:35:11.000 --> 00:35:15.000
 what's your druthers, and you tell us what you want to do, and that's what we'll focus

00:35:15.000 --> 00:35:16.000
 on.

00:35:16.000 --> 00:35:19.000
 That's -- is this widening into 6 lines?

00:35:19.000 --> 00:35:21.000
 This is the frontage roads.

00:35:21.000 --> 00:35:22.000
 Okay.

00:35:22.000 --> 00:35:28.000
 So, what we're doing is we broke it into two pieces, and the reason we're doing that is

00:35:28.000 --> 00:35:33.000
 the main lanes that they're allowing us to do right now in the mobility plan is a rural

00:35:33.000 --> 00:35:35.000
 highway, 6 lanes.

00:35:35.000 --> 00:35:40.000
 So, it was going to be what they call a 3223, which is what's coming out of Tarrant County,

00:35:40.000 --> 00:35:47.000
 3 general purpose, 2 managed northbound, 2 managed southbound, and 3 general purpose.

00:35:47.000 --> 00:35:52.000
 We had to change that in the mobility plan because the commission said they weren't going

00:35:52.000 --> 00:35:54.000
 to accept any more managed lanes.

00:35:54.000 --> 00:36:01.000
 So, all we're doing is changing it from an urban 3223 to a rural 6, and the footprint

00:36:01.000 --> 00:36:06.000
 for a rural 6 is the same as an urban 3223.

00:36:06.000 --> 00:36:12.000
 Building the frontage roads, leaving the center wide open so that when they change their mind,

00:36:12.000 --> 00:36:17.000
 they will have the footprint for handling.

00:36:17.000 --> 00:36:20.000
 Have them drive through there after 3 o'clock any day of the week.

00:36:20.000 --> 00:36:21.000
 Right.

00:36:21.000 --> 00:36:23.000
 So, that's why we're doing it split.

00:36:23.000 --> 00:36:25.000
 There's some method to our madness.

00:36:25.000 --> 00:36:28.000
 The frontage roads are always going to be where the frontage roads are going to be, and

00:36:28.000 --> 00:36:30.000
 the frontage roads are what drive development.

00:36:30.000 --> 00:36:36.000
 So, it's the things we want first anyway.

00:36:36.000 --> 00:36:37.000
 Okay.

00:36:37.000 --> 00:36:42.000
 So, I think I told you last month that this project has always been two sections.

00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:49.000
 The blue section was led out to private firms to do the design, and they did the design

00:36:49.000 --> 00:36:51.000
 in-house in the green.

00:36:51.000 --> 00:36:53.000
 It's both fully funded.

00:36:53.000 --> 00:36:59.000
 They want to let this project sooner than 2021, sometime in 2020, which means October

00:36:59.000 --> 00:37:03.000
 19 through September 20.

00:37:03.000 --> 00:37:08.000
 So, we're meeting with city staff coordinating on that because, A, it's good news that they're

00:37:08.000 --> 00:37:10.000
 going to do the dent section first.

00:37:10.000 --> 00:37:15.000
 The bad news is we've got to make sure we're out of the way.

00:37:15.000 --> 00:37:20.000
 So, this project will go first, and once we know that, we'll break these projects into

00:37:20.000 --> 00:37:25.000
 two, and they'll have their own schedule.

00:37:25.000 --> 00:37:26.000
 Loop 288.

00:37:26.000 --> 00:37:32.000
 288 is having the same problem along the traffic as 35W.

00:37:32.000 --> 00:37:38.000
 We're working through it, and we're still hoping to get this project cleared September

00:37:38.000 --> 00:37:44.000
 next year, but we're a little bit further along on 288 than we are on 35W, so I think

00:37:44.000 --> 00:37:50.000
 that's eminently doable if we can get the traffic resolved in the next month or so.

00:37:50.000 --> 00:37:56.000
 So, the reason traffic matters is this is a controlled access facility like 35W, and

00:37:56.000 --> 00:37:59.000
 you can't put the ramps just anywhere you want.

00:37:59.000 --> 00:38:04.000
 You have to put them based on where the traffic warrants, and so we know where they need to

00:38:04.000 --> 00:38:09.000
 be, but we can't prove that they were warranted without the proper traffic, and the traffic

00:38:09.000 --> 00:38:17.000
 we're getting was, it didn't have the right nodes connected to it, so it was underestimating

00:38:17.000 --> 00:38:22.000
 and saying things weren't warranted, and we know they are based on what COGS demographics

00:38:22.000 --> 00:38:30.000
 shows, so we're having this modeling battle between the region and the division.

00:38:30.000 --> 00:38:35.000
 On this one, because I know that we've had, there were some issues with gas wells and

00:38:35.000 --> 00:38:40.000
 things such as that, is there a requirement for TxDOT to build the road?

00:38:40.000 --> 00:38:45.000
 Does it have to be a certain distance away from the gas well, or can it be as close as?

00:38:45.000 --> 00:38:49.000
 It can be fairly close or adjacent to the right of way, it cannot be in the right of

00:38:49.000 --> 00:38:55.000
 way, and so that's, a lot of the times you see us move because of gas wells is because

00:38:55.000 --> 00:38:58.000
 we were in the right of way.

00:38:58.000 --> 00:39:03.000
 And if you look, the reason why this has got such a long life cycle timeline on it, is

00:39:03.000 --> 00:39:07.000
 if you were to go to, and I encourage you to do this, it's interesting, go to Ditton

00:39:07.000 --> 00:39:14.000
 County's landmark, go to their GIS, and go to the landmark, that's that map, and top

00:39:14.000 --> 00:39:19.000
 in, go into this area and hit gas wells and transmission lines.

00:39:19.000 --> 00:39:20.000
 Check mark that.

00:39:20.000 --> 00:39:27.000
 And this whole section of the county, 35 W, 35 West, will turn almost black with the

00:39:27.000 --> 00:39:30.000
 number of wells and transmission lines.

00:39:30.000 --> 00:39:33.000
 We've threaded the needle on the wells.

00:39:33.000 --> 00:39:38.000
 The hard part is going to be that underneath those little wells is a spiderweb of transmission

00:39:38.000 --> 00:39:46.000
 lines that we're going to have to deal with, and they're not a pure franchise utility,

00:39:46.000 --> 00:39:52.000
 and so they're dealt with differently, and they're not, the state doesn't have as much

00:39:52.000 --> 00:39:59.000
 authority to move them around, push them around as they can on a utility, so you end up costing

00:39:59.000 --> 00:40:02.000
 a lot of money and they drag your feet.

00:40:02.000 --> 00:40:10.000
 So, we try to avoid the gas wells themselves, but they can be fairly close, and if you look

00:40:10.000 --> 00:40:15.000
 at Cleveland Gibbs and 35 W, there's a gas well right there at the corner, right up against

00:40:15.000 --> 00:40:17.000
 that right over there.

00:40:17.000 --> 00:40:23.000
 So they can be next door neighbors as long as you're not in the right of way.

00:40:23.000 --> 00:40:28.000
 I don't know if that's good or bad.

00:40:28.000 --> 00:40:34.000
 And then our favorite project for pre-10, 15-15, we are moving forward.

00:40:34.000 --> 00:40:40.000
 We're still looking at December vinyl cleanse with the Wishbone project getting funded,

00:40:40.000 --> 00:40:43.000
 which funds this leg of 35 W.

00:40:43.000 --> 00:40:49.000
 We've got to do some more due diligence now to make sure that what we're doing with 15-15

00:40:49.000 --> 00:40:54.000
 is consistent with what 35 W is planning on, so there's some coordination, and then you

00:40:54.000 --> 00:40:56.000
 got Bonnie Bray coming right through the middle of it.

00:40:56.000 --> 00:41:02.000
 So, there's three projects that we have to coordinate to make sure they're during how

00:41:02.000 --> 00:41:05.000
 to bridge to nowhere.

00:41:05.000 --> 00:41:10.000
 1173, speaking of making sure there's not a bridge to nowhere, the 35 project that we

00:41:10.000 --> 00:41:18.000
 have funded does include the realignment of 1173 to the Bartholomew Road, so we'll at

00:41:18.000 --> 00:41:24.000
 least have the intersection there for the time, you know, it's pretty close in the time

00:41:24.000 --> 00:41:29.000
 frame, but this project is not funded, but the interchange at 35 will be included in

00:41:29.000 --> 00:41:34.000
 the 35 project in the proper location.

00:41:34.000 --> 00:41:37.000
 428, this is just a starter.

00:41:37.000 --> 00:41:41.000
 TxDOT has not got anybody on board to do the limited access facility here.

00:41:41.000 --> 00:41:47.000
 Pre-10 is working on the signal work and the justification for the warrant to submit to

00:41:47.000 --> 00:41:53.000
 TxDOT, and we'll work with them whenever they get that done.

00:41:53.000 --> 00:42:02.000
 Bonnie Bray, Phase 7, this is for the extension to tie into 288.

00:42:02.000 --> 00:42:10.000
 This is a project where we're tracking, but it's essentially our partnership with the

00:42:10.000 --> 00:42:12.000
 Metropolitan Planning Organization.

00:42:12.000 --> 00:42:17.000
 They're going to help us with the blue line in front of the school, and then Cog is going

00:42:17.000 --> 00:42:22.000
 to work with TxDOT as a partner and probably ask the county for assistance on the green

00:42:22.000 --> 00:42:28.000
 project, so we're just showing you this as a, that we're tying Bonnie Bray into 288,

00:42:28.000 --> 00:42:33.000
 but it really shouldn't require any funding from the city.

00:42:33.000 --> 00:42:37.000
 What about the projected dates, sir?

00:42:37.000 --> 00:42:45.000
 We haven't got anybody on board yet for Phase 7 at TxDOT yet, so the city has spent some

00:42:45.000 --> 00:42:49.000
 money to do a schematic, so we're not dead in the water.

00:42:49.000 --> 00:42:54.000
 We have been working on it, so we're just going to get Cog and TxDOT to say yes.

00:42:54.000 --> 00:42:59.000
 They'll bring on a consultant to finish it, and we'll get you a date, cycle it, and we're

00:42:59.000 --> 00:43:00.000
 going to try it.

00:43:00.000 --> 00:43:03.000
 All of this is another reason why we're meeting with your staff, because when you go back

00:43:03.000 --> 00:43:15.000
 and look at 35, which I will, because this is the last project, you got January of 2023,

00:43:15.000 --> 00:43:16.000
 which is the critical one.

00:43:16.000 --> 00:43:20.000
 The next one is a little earlier, because we've been working on it longer.

00:43:20.000 --> 00:43:26.000
 You got January of 2023, where this project and probably that green part of the northern

00:43:26.000 --> 00:43:32.000
 section will go under the knife, and Bonnie Bray, we're working on it in all of this corridor,

00:43:32.000 --> 00:43:39.000
 and we're trying to get as much of this in place prior to that date, and the good news

00:43:39.000 --> 00:43:45.000
 is that date probably will slip a little bit, because they always do, but your staff isn't

00:43:45.000 --> 00:43:46.000
 counting on that.

00:43:46.000 --> 00:43:55.000
 We're already meeting pretty regularly to figure out how to get that road on the ground.

00:43:55.000 --> 00:44:00.000
 That tie-in is that portion right up here, and TxDOT knows that this is coming, Cog knows

00:44:00.000 --> 00:44:03.000
 this is coming, and so they know that's a critical item with the schedule, so we're

00:44:03.000 --> 00:44:11.000
 going to try to keep it to where it gets done as quickly as possible before this thing goes

00:44:11.000 --> 00:44:12.000
 under the knife.

00:44:12.000 --> 00:44:18.000
 That's why I think they'd already be on board and kind of have dates, because that's the

00:44:18.000 --> 00:44:19.000
 plan.

00:44:19.000 --> 00:44:26.000
 Yes, but they only knew they got this funded by the commission in July, so now it's October,

00:44:26.000 --> 00:44:33.000
 and now we're starting to unthread the sweater, unravel it, to see what all that implies,

00:44:33.000 --> 00:44:40.000
 and this, Bonnie Bray, is one of the implications, and so we're just now getting to the consequences

00:44:40.000 --> 00:44:46.000
 of our success, and that should be it for me.

00:44:46.000 --> 00:44:50.000
 I have a few follow-up questions.

00:44:50.000 --> 00:44:51.000
 Uh-oh.

00:44:51.000 --> 00:44:57.000
 You mentioned Dallas Drive a little bit, but you were talking about the connection.

00:44:57.000 --> 00:45:01.000
 Is there a date for the on-ramp to open?

00:45:01.000 --> 00:45:04.000
 Is that in conjunction with Breakers still?

00:45:04.000 --> 00:45:05.000
 No.

00:45:05.000 --> 00:45:12.000
 The on-ramp is, they're striping part of the, the ramps are there right now because they

00:45:12.000 --> 00:45:19.000
 drove through it today, and they're going to strike the on-ramp at 288 and the off-ramp

00:45:19.000 --> 00:45:25.000
 for Mayhill, and under that part of that contract, they're going to restripe the Dallas Drive

00:45:25.000 --> 00:45:29.000
 to one lane, because right now it's two, and then you merge right at the signal.

00:45:29.000 --> 00:45:33.000
 They're going to reduce that back down to one lane, and that should be done sometime

00:45:33.000 --> 00:45:36.000
 in October, is what we were told.

00:45:36.000 --> 00:45:37.000
 So the striping?

00:45:37.000 --> 00:45:38.000
 No.

00:45:38.000 --> 00:45:39.000
 No?

00:45:39.000 --> 00:45:40.000
 Yeah, I'm talking about heading south.

00:45:40.000 --> 00:45:41.000
 Under the bridge.

00:45:41.000 --> 00:45:44.000
 Under the, coming down Dallas Drive.

00:45:44.000 --> 00:45:45.000
 On to 35.

00:45:45.000 --> 00:45:46.000
 Oh.

00:45:46.000 --> 00:45:49.000
 Yeah, that won't open until the project's completely done.

00:45:49.000 --> 00:45:51.000
 What, what do you mean completely?

00:45:51.000 --> 00:45:52.000
 Okay.

00:45:52.000 --> 00:45:59.000
 I'll tell you the current inaccurate date, uh, is December 2019.

00:45:59.000 --> 00:46:00.000
 Okay.

00:46:00.000 --> 00:46:03.000
 So it is in conjunction with, with the same.

00:46:03.000 --> 00:46:05.000
 Yeah, that'll be the last thing that happens on this job.

00:46:05.000 --> 00:46:12.000
 They will not open Dallas Drive until everything is perfect, because it's, it jams the traffic

00:46:12.000 --> 00:46:16.000
 into a section that's already pretty bad.

00:46:16.000 --> 00:46:22.000
 So you mean both, um, frontage roads and the light at Brinker and then Dallas Drive on-ramp.

00:46:22.000 --> 00:46:29.000
 So the, yeah, so the, the frontage roads, ramps, on and off, and the striping of Dallas

00:46:29.000 --> 00:46:33.000
 Drive should happen in the next 30 days.

00:46:33.000 --> 00:46:39.000
 Uh, Dallas Drive being able to go southbound on to 35 won't open until essentially the

00:46:39.000 --> 00:46:42.000
 LHL hands the keys back to textile.

00:46:42.000 --> 00:46:46.000
 I just want to make sure it didn't have anything to do with mayhem, but it was just.

00:46:46.000 --> 00:46:50.000
 No, it has to do with, uh, that it comes in on the left.

00:46:50.000 --> 00:46:51.000
 Okay.

00:46:51.000 --> 00:46:54.000
 So, and, um, one more question.

00:46:54.000 --> 00:46:59.000
 So there's barrels along 380, and people have asked me what they're for, and I'm saying

00:46:59.000 --> 00:47:00.000
 it's median work.

00:47:00.000 --> 00:47:01.000
 Is that what's going on?

00:47:01.000 --> 00:47:03.000
 You had, like, uh, didn't buy one of that?

00:47:03.000 --> 00:47:05.000
 Oh, yeah, yeah, all the way in north.

00:47:05.000 --> 00:47:06.000
 I go to church, right?

00:47:06.000 --> 00:47:09.000
 I'm an usher, and these guys like treating me like I'm their consultant.

00:47:09.000 --> 00:47:11.000
 They want to know what that's going on.

00:47:11.000 --> 00:47:12.000
 Call the city.

00:47:12.000 --> 00:47:16.000
 Well, I mean, you know, there's no communication.

00:47:16.000 --> 00:47:17.000
 I don't know what's going on.

00:47:17.000 --> 00:47:19.000
 I want to find out as soon as I leave here.

00:47:19.000 --> 00:47:25.000
 Well, I think what it is is I've noticed the edges of the medians have been broken out

00:47:25.000 --> 00:47:27.000
 and rewired.

00:47:27.000 --> 00:47:30.000
 I think they're fixing the crushed medians, and that's what I've been saying.

00:47:30.000 --> 00:47:33.000
 But I just wanted to clarify that that's all.

00:47:33.000 --> 00:47:37.000
 If we don't know by today, we'll know by Thursday when we get cornered Tina and ask

00:47:37.000 --> 00:47:39.000
 her why she's doing stuff without letting us know.

00:47:39.000 --> 00:47:43.000
 But, uh, yes, I know exactly what you're talking about.

00:47:43.000 --> 00:47:46.000
 Okay.

00:47:46.000 --> 00:47:50.000
 Okay, we'll go to church.

00:47:50.000 --> 00:47:54.000
 Okay, thanks a lot.

00:47:54.000 --> 00:48:00.000
 Let's move on to item E, staff reports.

00:48:00.000 --> 00:48:10.000
 So I want to tell you, let me pull up the matrix to see if we can take some items out

00:48:10.000 --> 00:48:15.000
 and clean it up so that we have more space.

00:48:15.000 --> 00:48:16.000
 So we can fill it back in?

00:48:16.000 --> 00:48:18.000
 Fill it back in.

00:48:18.000 --> 00:48:19.000
 New stuff.

00:48:19.000 --> 00:48:26.000
 There we go.

00:48:26.000 --> 00:48:27.000
 Okay.

00:48:27.000 --> 00:48:35.000
 So I know these first two or three or four are continuing, and do we want to continue

00:48:35.000 --> 00:48:36.000
 keeping them on?

00:48:36.000 --> 00:48:42.000
 Because I think this one-way two-way and then the rope diet, these will all be discussed

00:48:42.000 --> 00:48:45.000
 as part of the mobility plan.

00:48:45.000 --> 00:48:51.000
 So we are getting updates on the mobility plan on a monthly basis.

00:48:51.000 --> 00:48:53.000
 So do we want to keep them on the matrix?

00:48:53.000 --> 00:48:57.000
 Because that's an agenda item that we can, if we can take them out, we'll always have

00:48:57.000 --> 00:49:00.000
 a mobility plan update.

00:49:00.000 --> 00:49:05.000
 Or do you want to keep them just to specifically focus on that, on those two items?

00:49:05.000 --> 00:49:09.000
 Well, I was told that those two were going to be in a presentation coming to council

00:49:09.000 --> 00:49:14.000
 soon, and so when that presentation comes to council, I think these can roll off.

00:49:14.000 --> 00:49:15.000
 Okay.

00:49:15.000 --> 00:49:16.000
 Perfect.

00:49:16.000 --> 00:49:21.000
 And then DCTA, I think we talked to them about the bus shelters, but do you want to, DCTA

00:49:21.000 --> 00:49:25.000
 shelters and benches, do you want to keep them or constantly keep them?

00:49:25.000 --> 00:49:28.000
 I'm not 100% sure of our motivation here.

00:49:28.000 --> 00:49:33.000
 The last I heard, you know, we're not paying by the vertical inch for, you know, screen

00:49:33.000 --> 00:49:34.000
 space.

00:49:34.000 --> 00:49:41.000
 I mean, you know, just to be strictly following the logic we heard, you're going to hear this.

00:49:41.000 --> 00:49:44.000
 So, okay, then when we hear it, it'll be done.

00:49:44.000 --> 00:49:45.000
 Okay.

00:49:45.000 --> 00:49:52.000
 No, because I think some of this has really old dates and it just looks as if there's

00:49:52.000 --> 00:49:56.000
 nothing happening or you've not really heard about this item for a long time.

00:49:56.000 --> 00:49:57.000
 I acknowledge that.

00:49:57.000 --> 00:49:58.000
 We just heard about it today.

00:49:58.000 --> 00:50:02.000
 We heard that it's coming, you know, and I'm not unhappy about it.

00:50:02.000 --> 00:50:04.000
 Now, I do have an issue with item four.

00:50:04.000 --> 00:50:09.000
 I personally feel that the I should always be before the E and the word yield.

00:50:09.000 --> 00:50:14.000
 That's my position.

00:50:14.000 --> 00:50:20.000
 And that can come off because it's been looked at and nothing is.

00:50:20.000 --> 00:50:25.000
 And it's probably more embarrassing than the date, right?

00:50:25.000 --> 00:50:26.000
 It is.

00:50:26.000 --> 00:50:29.000
 Item six, we're planning on taking that up because that has been completed.

00:50:29.000 --> 00:50:35.000
 It was refreshed on the crosswalks.

00:50:35.000 --> 00:50:37.000
 Can we go back up to five for a second?

00:50:37.000 --> 00:50:38.000
 Yes, sure.

00:50:38.000 --> 00:50:43.000
 Because I believe that when we were talking about the mobility plan, this was an issue

00:50:43.000 --> 00:50:46.000
 for the disability committee as well.

00:50:46.000 --> 00:50:48.000
 I think it's the same section.

00:50:48.000 --> 00:50:55.000
 And so just to go back to this, is there any -- are we still talking to the --

00:50:55.000 --> 00:50:56.000
 Let me --

00:50:56.000 --> 00:51:01.000
 -- develop the -- I guess the person who owns it and TxDOT and the city.

00:51:01.000 --> 00:51:02.000
 The micro room.

00:51:02.000 --> 00:51:03.000
 The micro room.

00:51:03.000 --> 00:51:04.000
 Yes.

00:51:04.000 --> 00:51:05.000
 It's in the light.

00:51:05.000 --> 00:51:10.000
 I mean, it's really dangerous.

00:51:10.000 --> 00:51:12.000
 If you're in a wheelchair, there's nothing to do.

00:51:12.000 --> 00:51:23.000
 No, I'm not.

00:51:23.000 --> 00:51:28.000
 So the real issue here is the right-of-way.

00:51:28.000 --> 00:51:31.000
 TxDOT has right-of-way.

00:51:31.000 --> 00:51:35.000
 Let me get to the location right there.

00:51:35.000 --> 00:51:38.000
 So TxDOT has the right-of-way on 380.

00:51:38.000 --> 00:51:44.000
 And right behind it is a private property.

00:51:44.000 --> 00:51:46.000
 So there are two separate things here.

00:51:46.000 --> 00:51:51.000
 And in order to have that access directly down here, you have to wrap it down here

00:51:51.000 --> 00:51:53.000
 and then bring it into the parking lot.

00:51:53.000 --> 00:51:56.000
 But you can't really leave anything in the parking lot.

00:51:56.000 --> 00:51:59.000
 There is no sidewalk that extends or connects.

00:51:59.000 --> 00:52:02.000
 And there is no ramp on the other end.

00:52:02.000 --> 00:52:03.000
 So there is no crosswalk.

00:52:03.000 --> 00:52:13.000
 So it's a bigger issue and a larger project that it looks as if it's not necessarily a quick little ramp and it's done.

00:52:13.000 --> 00:52:23.000
 So we have talked to TxDOT about this, and currently they don't have any plans or funding or anything to move forward on.

00:52:23.000 --> 00:52:24.000
 So I have a question.

00:52:24.000 --> 00:52:29.000
 If you could go back to the one section where it goes in and it's a holding spot.

00:52:29.000 --> 00:52:32.000
 So if you're in a wheelchair, there's nothing you can do, really.

00:52:32.000 --> 00:52:42.000
 So if we just busted that curb away, and people could either -- I mean, why is that curb there?

00:52:42.000 --> 00:52:48.000
 I mean, it would just make more sense if it was -- I mean, I don't know if that's allowed or not,

00:52:48.000 --> 00:52:53.000
 but at least somebody could get off of that.

00:52:53.000 --> 00:53:00.000
 So this curb is specifically directed for folks when they -- it's a bus stop right here, right?

00:53:00.000 --> 00:53:02.000
 I mean, when they get off.

00:53:02.000 --> 00:53:03.000
 Is it a bus stop?

00:53:03.000 --> 00:53:06.000
 I don't think it's a bus stop.

00:53:06.000 --> 00:53:12.000
 Yeah, it's not -- it doesn't make any sense.

00:53:12.000 --> 00:53:19.000
 I just -- what just -- if we could get creative and kind of think maybe out of the box, if possible,

00:53:19.000 --> 00:53:23.000
 because I know that that's an issue, too, and I --

00:53:23.000 --> 00:53:26.000
 I think it's because it's raised there, isn't it?

00:53:26.000 --> 00:53:31.000
 Yeah, there's a -- if you look at it, this level is way higher than this.

00:53:31.000 --> 00:53:33.000
 I would say a good six to eight inches.

00:53:33.000 --> 00:53:37.000
 It's raised, and it empties into a drive lane on the private side.

00:53:37.000 --> 00:53:42.000
 So where we're struggling is where do you safely put somebody,

00:53:42.000 --> 00:53:46.000
 because the alternative is to take it away completely.

00:53:46.000 --> 00:53:48.000
 And that's where we're struggling with this issue.

00:53:48.000 --> 00:53:53.000
 You don't want to take, especially somebody who is potentially visually impaired,

00:53:53.000 --> 00:53:57.000
 and dump them into a drive lane on private property.

00:53:57.000 --> 00:54:01.000
 So we could take the back of that curb down, and we could drop the ramp down.

00:54:01.000 --> 00:54:05.000
 But until we designate and we don't have easement to do this,

00:54:05.000 --> 00:54:07.000
 we'd have to work with the private property owner,

00:54:07.000 --> 00:54:13.000
 you're putting them in an area where cars drive through that area and make the rights on the left.

00:54:13.000 --> 00:54:16.000
 And that's the concern as we start to try to figure out what do we do here.

00:54:16.000 --> 00:54:19.000
 We have no control of the private property.

00:54:19.000 --> 00:54:22.000
 We can only make suggestion, and then we're taking some liability on it.

00:54:22.000 --> 00:54:26.000
 So it's textile when we bust the back of the curb and empty it into access.

00:54:26.000 --> 00:54:29.000
 But I think the other issue, though, that Council Member is mentioning is

00:54:29.000 --> 00:54:33.000
 you may be dumping them into a parking lot, but you're also dumping them onto 380.

00:54:33.000 --> 00:54:35.000
 I don't disagree with you.

00:54:35.000 --> 00:54:38.000
 I don't disagree with you, and that's where the alternative is,

00:54:38.000 --> 00:54:44.000
 is you take the crosswalk away and you take the landing away so that it makes sense that nobody,

00:54:44.000 --> 00:54:48.000
 which is really the strictest definition of what the ADA actually says,

00:54:48.000 --> 00:54:52.000
 is if you're both, if you're able-bodied and you have a crossing,

00:54:52.000 --> 00:54:57.000
 you need to make it accessible to a disabled body and vice versa.

00:54:57.000 --> 00:55:02.000
 So that's where we're coming down with how do you get to the best possible solution here.

00:55:02.000 --> 00:55:04.000
 It involves a lot more than just us.

00:55:04.000 --> 00:55:05.000
 It's the state.

00:55:05.000 --> 00:55:10.000
 It's understanding the constraints of the accessibility issue altogether

00:55:10.000 --> 00:55:14.000
 and the private sector because it belongs to somebody we have no control of their property over.

00:55:14.000 --> 00:55:17.000
 So what does that sign right there on the poles?

00:55:17.000 --> 00:55:19.000
 It says no walking. Where do you not walk?

00:55:19.000 --> 00:55:22.000
 You don't cross the straitway.

00:55:22.000 --> 00:55:26.000
 So that's a sign for folks between these two poles that don't cross here.

00:55:26.000 --> 00:55:32.000
 If you want to cross, go on the other side and then cross that street there.

00:55:32.000 --> 00:55:33.000
 That's what it says.

00:55:33.000 --> 00:55:36.000
 So it only has two crossings here.

00:55:36.000 --> 00:55:40.000
 We'll keep working with them, but those are the options.

00:55:40.000 --> 00:55:42.000
 I mean, the reality is those are the options.

00:55:42.000 --> 00:55:46.000
 We have to work with the private property owner, which can take time because there's no,

00:55:46.000 --> 00:55:53.000
 there's not a compelling argument that makes them do something versus,

00:55:53.000 --> 00:55:58.000
 do you leave the access point, which I agree makes no sense for the,

00:55:58.000 --> 00:56:03.000
 especially for the disabled-body person to go anywhere.

00:56:03.000 --> 00:56:09.000
 And one of the challenging parts of this is when 380 was built between Fulton,

00:56:09.000 --> 00:56:15.000
 right about here, and Carroll, there was no sidewalk laid down on the north side at all.

00:56:15.000 --> 00:56:17.000
 So the sidewalk is missing.

00:56:17.000 --> 00:56:23.000
 Everything on this side west, there's sidewalk on the north side if you can see.

00:56:23.000 --> 00:56:26.000
 And on this side of Carroll, there's sidewalk on the north side.

00:56:26.000 --> 00:56:29.000
 This is the only segment that does not have it.

00:56:29.000 --> 00:56:34.000
 So it's a, if we're doing things right, I think we need to install the sidewalk,

00:56:34.000 --> 00:56:36.000
 install the ranch, and make it appropriate.

00:56:36.000 --> 00:56:40.000
 And it all takes that right of way.

00:56:40.000 --> 00:56:43.000
 I understand that we're trying to have a solution,

00:56:43.000 --> 00:56:48.000
 but this is the only place that there is a crossing in order to provide that ADA

00:56:48.000 --> 00:56:53.000
 compliancy, we cannot put a crosswalk without having a ramp on the other side.

00:56:53.000 --> 00:56:59.000
 And that's why, that's the reason why TechStock had that ramp in the first place.

00:56:59.000 --> 00:57:04.000
 But it's a very challenging location, but a lot of people do cross here,

00:57:04.000 --> 00:57:09.000
 so it's not something that we really want to take out as far as a crosswalk.

00:57:09.000 --> 00:57:16.000
 No, it's a main connection, because you'd rather cross here than down at the Carroll bus lane.

00:57:16.000 --> 00:57:21.000
 But you mentioned someone who is not able to see.

00:57:21.000 --> 00:57:26.000
 I would not like to see what happens if they get to here, I mean, either.

00:57:26.000 --> 00:57:30.000
 So, anyway, I'd like to keep it on the matrix if that's okay.

00:57:30.000 --> 00:57:33.000
 We'll leave it there.

00:57:33.000 --> 00:57:41.000
 Thank you.

00:57:41.000 --> 00:57:46.000
 So the Malone ride turn versus bike lanes, I think Mark presented on this item

00:57:46.000 --> 00:57:53.000
 and we discussed what we could do is probably have a ride up or a blurb on this,

00:57:53.000 --> 00:57:55.000
 just so that it covers it.

00:57:55.000 --> 00:58:00.000
 I'll leave it for now, but then I'll, once we have it on the discussion,

00:58:00.000 --> 00:58:03.000
 then we can talk about it later.

00:58:03.000 --> 00:58:07.000
 This one, I'll ask, I have to remember why, if he wants to take that out,

00:58:07.000 --> 00:58:17.000
 because PD has already enforced on Bernard Street.

00:58:17.000 --> 00:58:19.000
 Oh, sorry.

00:58:19.000 --> 00:58:24.000
 Didn't mean to put you on the spot, but on this particular item for enforcement,

00:58:24.000 --> 00:58:27.000
 I think PD had up the enforcement, can you take it up?

00:58:27.000 --> 00:58:32.000
 And then the second item, if you want, I can have a blurb from PD.

00:58:32.000 --> 00:58:34.000
 Actually, what are the rules?

00:58:34.000 --> 00:58:36.000
 So that way you have an idea.

00:58:36.000 --> 00:58:41.000
 Yeah, because the biggest complaint we get is we're trying to put in more bike lanes,

00:58:41.000 --> 00:58:44.000
 is well, the bikers don't follow the rules anymore.

00:58:44.000 --> 00:58:48.000
 So if we could say, well, the police have these policies in place

00:58:48.000 --> 00:58:51.000
 and they are writing some tickets or they are doing something,

00:58:51.000 --> 00:58:54.000
 it gives us something to fall back on.

00:58:54.000 --> 00:58:59.000
 Yes, so I'll take number eight out, but then I'll leave this

00:58:59.000 --> 00:59:02.000
 and give you a group that explains some of this.

00:59:02.000 --> 00:59:07.000
 Rockwood and Mistywood, the schedule is right next year.

00:59:07.000 --> 00:59:10.000
 Okay, perfect, I'll take that one out.

00:59:10.000 --> 00:59:18.000
 Ellen Locust, this is, we're trying to get this on council either the 22nd or 1st meeting,

00:59:18.000 --> 00:59:26.000
 where the last piece is the resolution, but we want to get it on consent to get the turn back MOU assigned

00:59:26.000 --> 00:59:29.000
 and going to council so that PICSTAC can move forward.

00:59:29.000 --> 00:59:32.000
 Is this where I can editorialize a little bit?

00:59:32.000 --> 00:59:33.000
 Yes.

00:59:33.000 --> 00:59:40.000
 The MOU is a document that has been used a lot over the years

00:59:40.000 --> 00:59:46.000
 and it does give legal counsel some grief occasionally because it starts out saying

00:59:46.000 --> 00:59:50.000
 that this is a non-binding agreement, right?

00:59:50.000 --> 00:59:58.000
 But then later it says it anticipates there will be binding agreements as we get through the process.

00:59:58.000 --> 01:00:04.000
 This is a if you will, then we will, if then MOU.

01:00:04.000 --> 01:00:08.000
 But I think what, I'm not going to speak for anybody other than myself,

01:00:08.000 --> 01:00:14.000
 I think if you do the resolution, you're pretty much bound to what's in the MOU at that point

01:00:14.000 --> 01:00:17.000
 and the other side isn't.

01:00:17.000 --> 01:00:19.000
 So I'm just throwing that out there.

01:00:19.000 --> 01:00:26.000
 I don't know if I'm talking out of turn, but it's my recommendation that you just execute the MOUs,

01:00:26.000 --> 01:00:31.000
 give the city manager the authority to sign it and don't do the resolutions

01:00:31.000 --> 01:00:38.000
 because it requires PICSTAC to do significant things prior to you doing your thing.

01:00:38.000 --> 01:00:43.000
 If you take that resolution and execute it, I've seen it where in Crowley,

01:00:43.000 --> 01:00:50.000
 they passed resolutions saying if then we'll do what you want

01:00:50.000 --> 01:00:54.000
 and the commission took it as you said you wanted it, you got it,

01:00:54.000 --> 01:00:59.000
 and we had to go fight back that it was still on system for them to do the work they were going to do.

01:00:59.000 --> 01:01:06.000
 Would it be possible for the resolution to mirror the kind of conditionality of the MOU?

01:01:06.000 --> 01:01:15.000
 Yeah, I haven't seen the resolution, but if you're going to do a resolution because it says what the council is going to do,

01:01:15.000 --> 01:01:20.000
 make sure that it's conditional as much as possible.

01:01:20.000 --> 01:01:24.000
 And I'm saying that's probably about the suspenders,

01:01:24.000 --> 01:01:33.000
 but all the state wanted is somebody on city staff saying if we do these things, then we will do these things.

01:01:33.000 --> 01:01:40.000
 So I don't want to cause any trouble any more than I normally would.

01:01:40.000 --> 01:01:50.000
 Would it be possible then to have our consultant look over that before?

01:01:50.000 --> 01:01:54.000
 And then this forest ridge, we already had a speed survey back in April,

01:01:54.000 --> 01:02:01.000
 and I think the speeds were not super high as was expected because the condition is not great at the pavement,

01:02:01.000 --> 01:02:06.000
 but we do have the data, and then we will do an after study.

01:02:06.000 --> 01:02:10.000
 Do you want to keep it just to have the after study, speed study done?

01:02:10.000 --> 01:02:13.000
 If you'll indulge me, if you can kind of remind me the context,

01:02:13.000 --> 01:02:19.000
 I remember we had a lot of discussion about the median or not having the median,

01:02:19.000 --> 01:02:25.000
 and I don't remember the significance of why we said no member.

01:02:25.000 --> 01:02:31.000
 It was to kind of address the concerns that would otherwise have been--

01:02:31.000 --> 01:02:36.000
 So November was the construction schedule for that particular piece,

01:02:36.000 --> 01:02:40.000
 so we wanted to have a before study of whatever we're doing with the medians.

01:02:40.000 --> 01:02:46.000
 Right now we're keeping the medians, but the context was once the wider area,

01:02:46.000 --> 01:02:50.000
 the 20-foot lane in the parking area is completely redone,

01:02:50.000 --> 01:02:55.000
 what are the implications of having those put in and the new paper?

01:02:55.000 --> 01:02:57.000
 Is it going to be higher speed?

01:02:57.000 --> 01:03:00.000
 And once we determine that the speeds have gone up,

01:03:00.000 --> 01:03:03.000
 then we may come back and look at traffic calming on that section.

01:03:03.000 --> 01:03:05.000
 So that was the whole notion.

01:03:05.000 --> 01:03:10.000
 But the discussion that we had wasn't that after April,

01:03:10.000 --> 01:03:13.000
 in other words, there was a reason to want to do it to--

01:03:13.000 --> 01:03:18.000
 if we already had it, because it was in April, we wouldn't have had a reason to say this.

01:03:18.000 --> 01:03:20.000
 There's some logic to it.

01:03:20.000 --> 01:03:23.000
 The survey that was conducted in April was an answer to the first question that you had.

01:03:23.000 --> 01:03:27.000
 So you had a request that, "Hey, do we have a before study done?

01:03:27.000 --> 01:03:30.000
 Can we get that study done before the construction hits the ground?"

01:03:30.000 --> 01:03:33.000
 And we already had a before study done back in April.

01:03:33.000 --> 01:03:37.000
 So that was an answer, saying we already had the before numbers,

01:03:37.000 --> 01:03:42.000
 now we need the after numbers once the construction is complete.

01:03:42.000 --> 01:03:50.000
 When was the discussion, if you wouldn't remind me?

01:03:50.000 --> 01:03:52.000
 This was back in July.

01:03:52.000 --> 01:03:59.000
 So at that time, you must have agreed it's not totally stupid to put it on the list,

01:03:59.000 --> 01:04:01.000
 even though we already had the April study.

01:04:01.000 --> 01:04:04.000
 I did not know at the time when the request was made.

01:04:04.000 --> 01:04:07.000
 This is new information.

01:04:07.000 --> 01:04:12.000
 We found that we've already collected the information that you had asked for.

01:04:12.000 --> 01:04:14.000
 There's no need to do it again.

01:04:14.000 --> 01:04:17.000
 And that was the answer that was put in.

01:04:17.000 --> 01:04:19.000
 Sorry, it's confusing.

01:04:19.000 --> 01:04:22.000
 >> No, no, that makes more sense now.

01:04:22.000 --> 01:04:24.000
 >> We can keep it.

01:04:24.000 --> 01:04:25.000
 >> No, it's already answered.

01:04:25.000 --> 01:04:28.000
 We have a speed survey done before November.

01:04:28.000 --> 01:04:33.000
 I'd be interested to know what it said.

01:04:33.000 --> 01:04:37.000
 But the most important thing is you have a before and an after.

01:04:37.000 --> 01:04:40.000
 >> We have the before study already completed.

01:04:40.000 --> 01:04:44.000
 And then mobility plan, once the mobility plan is in place

01:04:44.000 --> 01:04:46.000
 and we have an idea of the CNP,

01:04:46.000 --> 01:04:51.000
 we'll talk about how we're laying projects out and construction fatigue.

01:04:51.000 --> 01:04:57.000
 The main request was the construction fatigue.

01:04:57.000 --> 01:05:01.000
 How do we move forward with the mobility plan project?

01:05:01.000 --> 01:05:05.000
 >> Yeah, kind of how do we time and face things so it addresses that?

01:05:05.000 --> 01:05:06.000
 >> I'll leave this on.

01:05:06.000 --> 01:05:07.000
 >> Do you want to take it off?

01:05:07.000 --> 01:05:08.000
 >> No, I'll leave this on.

01:05:08.000 --> 01:05:10.000
 >> Okay.

01:05:10.000 --> 01:05:13.000
 Do you want to talk about other items to add at this point?

01:05:13.000 --> 01:05:17.000
 >> Yes, we can add that.

01:05:17.000 --> 01:05:18.000
 >> Who's ready?

01:05:18.000 --> 01:05:21.000
 >> I have a few.

01:05:21.000 --> 01:05:22.000
 >> Go ahead.

01:05:22.000 --> 01:05:24.000
 >> Okay.

01:05:24.000 --> 01:05:30.000
 I would like to have an update on the small system projects that are left.

01:05:30.000 --> 01:05:32.000
 I know that there were some approved,

01:05:32.000 --> 01:05:37.000
 but there doesn't look like there's been any action on some intersections.

01:05:37.000 --> 01:05:39.000
 So, you know, what's the holdup?

01:05:39.000 --> 01:05:42.000
 Where are we?

01:05:42.000 --> 01:05:44.000
 And if you don't want to do a presentation,

01:05:44.000 --> 01:05:47.000
 you can update it in an email to us or a report.

01:05:47.000 --> 01:05:49.000
 It doesn't have to be a hold.

01:05:49.000 --> 01:05:50.000
 It's up to you guys.

01:05:50.000 --> 01:05:54.000
 It's how you want to get that information to us.

01:05:54.000 --> 01:05:56.000
 And speaking of speed studies,

01:05:56.000 --> 01:06:01.000
 there was a speed study done on King's Row, Nottingham, and Windsor several months back,

01:06:01.000 --> 01:06:05.000
 and I'm just wondering if we could get those results.

01:06:05.000 --> 01:06:07.000
 >> Okay.

01:06:07.000 --> 01:06:11.000
 King's Row, Nottingham.

01:06:11.000 --> 01:06:14.000
 And what's the last one?

01:06:14.000 --> 01:06:18.000
 >> I wanted to bring up the bike share.

01:06:18.000 --> 01:06:22.000
 I've seen some bikes back out into the right of way.

01:06:22.000 --> 01:06:23.000
 >> Oh, okay.

01:06:23.000 --> 01:06:26.000
 >> And I messaged Mark,

01:06:26.000 --> 01:06:32.000
 and he said that there was just so many more people using them from students and stuff,

01:06:32.000 --> 01:06:37.000
 and that they changed -- there's not a person who was doing it.

01:06:37.000 --> 01:06:40.000
 Resetting them and moving them is different.

01:06:40.000 --> 01:06:44.000
 So I just wanted to -- I'm not asking for anything.

01:06:44.000 --> 01:06:51.000
 I just kind of want to make sure that it's getting back to normal again after --

01:06:51.000 --> 01:06:53.000
 because the pilot was perfect.

01:06:53.000 --> 01:06:55.000
 I didn't see any issues.

01:06:55.000 --> 01:06:58.000
 And I'm really glad that people are using the bikes.

01:06:58.000 --> 01:07:10.000
 I just want to make sure that they're getting it back in the right spot.

01:07:10.000 --> 01:07:11.000
 That's all.

01:07:11.000 --> 01:07:13.000
 >> John?

01:07:13.000 --> 01:07:21.000
 >> I've got one, I'm not sure how to convey this.

01:07:21.000 --> 01:07:26.000
 But when we're doing construction on roads where we're closing off,

01:07:26.000 --> 01:07:31.000
 and I'll use the example that I went through yesterday on Shady Oaks,

01:07:31.000 --> 01:07:35.000
 there are resurvacings of the left and the straight lanes.

01:07:35.000 --> 01:07:37.000
 The left turn lanes are closed off.

01:07:37.000 --> 01:07:42.000
 So our sensors are not picking up that anybody wants to make a left-hand turn.

01:07:42.000 --> 01:07:49.000
 So as you were trying to go towards Teasley on Shady Oaks,

01:07:49.000 --> 01:07:54.000
 everybody was in basically the right turn lane having to go right, straight, or left,

01:07:54.000 --> 01:07:57.000
 and you'd get three or four cars through there per light cycle.

01:07:57.000 --> 01:08:03.000
 I was backed up beyond the curve because it's never getting a left-turn arrow

01:08:03.000 --> 01:08:05.000
 to let the people making a left get through there.

01:08:05.000 --> 01:08:09.000
 So that one person that wants to make a left stops in one car.

01:08:09.000 --> 01:08:12.000
 So when we're doing this construction,

01:08:12.000 --> 01:08:18.000
 can we come up with a game plan that the sensors can be taken offline,

01:08:18.000 --> 01:08:22.000
 that it just becomes a time cycle as opposed to using the sensor?

01:08:22.000 --> 01:08:37.000
 >> Yes.

01:08:37.000 --> 01:08:38.000
 >> Go ahead.

01:08:38.000 --> 01:08:42.000
 >> I've got an answer to the councilwoman's question on 380 Denbigh.

01:08:42.000 --> 01:08:44.000
 >> You know, the change of mutual terms is just council member.

01:08:44.000 --> 01:08:47.000
 I hear people struggle with this every meeting.

01:08:47.000 --> 01:08:49.000
 >> I'm not very politically correct.

01:08:49.000 --> 01:08:54.000
 >> Apparently they are just replacing the curve on the median.

01:08:54.000 --> 01:08:59.000
 You've been saying it exactly right there.

01:08:59.000 --> 01:09:00.000
 >> Thank you.

01:09:00.000 --> 01:09:04.000
 >> And we'll meet them on Thursday to make sure they never let us know things like that.

01:09:04.000 --> 01:09:19.000
 >> Yeah, and there's also a dead tree in there if they want to go ahead and replace that one.

01:09:19.000 --> 01:09:27.000
 >> I hear persistently from one constituent that the sidewalk connectivity

01:09:27.000 --> 01:09:35.000
 between Unbell, between University and McKinney is very spotty from an ADA point of view,

01:09:35.000 --> 01:09:40.000
 that like if you wanted to roll outside a wheelchair through there, you'd be very challenged.

01:09:40.000 --> 01:09:45.000
 I appreciate if you would just take a look and see if you think there's a pressing issue there.

01:09:45.000 --> 01:09:47.000
 And secondly, I have a question.

01:09:47.000 --> 01:09:50.000
 Stuart Birdside is going to ask you this at some point today.

01:09:50.000 --> 01:09:53.000
 Probably anyway, but he might as well ask him while we're here.

01:09:53.000 --> 01:09:58.000
 In the construction report, you note that the corner of Elm and Oak is to be closed for two months.

01:09:58.000 --> 01:10:01.000
 Is that the whole thing or just like one lane?

01:10:01.000 --> 01:10:03.000
 Traffic could be able to get through or not?

01:10:03.000 --> 01:10:04.000
 >> We're working on that one.

01:10:04.000 --> 01:10:08.000
 I'll get you an answer today so I don't be circulating back to Stuart.

01:10:08.000 --> 01:10:09.000
 >> Yeah, okay.

01:10:09.000 --> 01:10:11.000
 Just letting you know it's coming.

01:10:11.000 --> 01:10:12.000
 >> Sure.

01:10:12.000 --> 01:10:13.000
 >> That's all I've got.

01:10:13.000 --> 01:10:18.000
 >> And on the street closure report, Forest Ridge,

01:10:18.000 --> 01:10:21.000
 it showed that the south part is going to open up on the 11th.

01:10:21.000 --> 01:10:24.000
 Is that still the truth or is it open now?

01:10:24.000 --> 01:10:27.000
 >> They are still working on it, I think.

01:10:27.000 --> 01:10:30.000
 >> It looked like they had the last two-inch layer to layer down.

01:10:30.000 --> 01:10:33.000
 >> They're not finishing that completely.

01:10:33.000 --> 01:10:35.000
 I can get you a fixed date.

01:10:35.000 --> 01:10:42.000
 >> It's a little confusing since we've closed down the northbound while the southbound is still under construction.

01:10:42.000 --> 01:10:49.000
 The signage, I know we've only got so many lighted signs, but they got pulled up to Hobson.

01:10:49.000 --> 01:10:59.000
 So there's no signage up there letting people know that the southbound is going to open up if it's open or closed.

01:10:59.000 --> 01:11:16.000
 >> John, thanks.

01:11:16.000 --> 01:11:18.000
 We've already adjourned, apparently.

01:11:18.000 --> 01:11:23.000
 So anything else from a staff report point of view?

01:11:23.000 --> 01:11:24.000
 Okay, then I'm going to.

01:11:24.000 --> 01:11:25.000
 >> One last thing.

01:11:25.000 --> 01:11:34.000
 I just want to mention that there is a work session item on Hinkle parking related.

01:11:34.000 --> 01:11:35.000
 >> Yes.

01:11:35.000 --> 01:11:38.000
 >> That will be coming for it next week.

01:11:38.000 --> 01:11:39.000
 >> I guess today.

01:11:39.000 --> 01:11:40.000
 >> Oh, today.

01:11:40.000 --> 01:11:41.000
 I'm sorry.

01:11:41.000 --> 01:11:42.000
 >> Yeah.

01:11:42.000 --> 01:11:44.000
 >> Moving today.

01:11:44.000 --> 01:11:48.000
 Anything you want to tell us about it in advance or just leave us in suspense?

01:11:48.000 --> 01:11:49.000
 >> There is no suspense.

01:11:49.000 --> 01:11:51.000
 >> I'm just trying to ramp up the suspense.

01:11:51.000 --> 01:11:52.000
 >> Yeah, okay.

01:11:52.000 --> 01:11:54.000
 >> It's riveting.

01:11:54.000 --> 01:11:56.000
 >> It is riveting.

01:11:56.000 --> 01:12:03.000
 Okay, seeing that there are no further items, I'll adjourn the meeting at 1013.
