>> Good morning. It is 9 a.m. I'm going to call the City of Dinton Public Utility Board's meeting of Monday, July 24th, 2023 to order. We'll start with -- we don't have the -- we're seeing if there's any members of the public that would like to say anything or have any questions. I don't appear to be. So we'll move on to a regular meeting. That's the presentations from the public. Excuse me. Now we're going to move on to the consent agenda. And let me tell you, if anybody wants to pull items A or B, we will not discuss them in an open meeting. We will move them to the closed meeting. Then we will pull them back out to vote on them. That's only if y'all want to pull them. >> Mr. Chairman, do you advise that we do that? >> It's up to you. It's up to you. I'm not going to pull them, so. >> Very well. Just curious. >> Okay. Cool. Any other items anybody wants to pull? Doesn't appear to be. All right, guys. Way to go. So we'll entertain a motion for items -- >> All moved. >> A, B, C, D, and E. We have a motion from Leigh, second from Barbara. All those in favor, please say aye. Any opposed? Appears to be none. Get y'all out of here quick, I bet you. Items for individual consideration. Consider approval of the July 10th, 2023 minutes. Got them here in front of me. Anyone? >> Move approval. >> Motion? >> Second. >> Second. Second was from Thomas. A motion was from Barbara. All those in favor, please say aye. >> Aye. >> Any opposed? >> Mr. Chairman, may I abstain since I was not here for the meeting? >> I think you may. My consideration of Robert's rules is you don't even have to have -- if nobody has any changes, they're automatically approved. But I've been told differently by lawyers. >> Well, in that case, never mind. >> Okay. Moving on to Christine with management reports. >> Okay. So on new business action items, it looks like there's one remaining item for update on Winter Storm URI, which has a status update that will be provided to PEB in the August meeting. And then on new business action -- I'm sorry, that was new business action items. Future agenda items. We don't currently have any unless there's anything additional the board would like to have brought back. >> I don't think -- I have a list in front of me anyway. So anybody want any new business items placed? If not, we'll just move forward to concluding items and let me pull my cheat sheet up. >> Oh, Mr. Chairman, may I -- may I put in -- could we get an update on the coal plant, the progress, what's happening there? >> The coal plant. >> The one we're selling or selling? >> The one we're selling has exploded. It's not there anymore. We still own a few of the properties. >> Could we have any stats about the properties? Is there a plan what's happening about that? >> Sure. I bet Tony or Terry could put that together for us. It's moving right along. There's a few issues. Outstanding issues. But I think we're in a good position. Okay. So from that, where is the cheat sheet you sent me? There it is. Okay. All right. The Public Utility Board will now convene at 9.04 a.m., convene in a closed meeting to deliberate the closed meeting items set forth on the agenda, which include the following. >> We're not going into closed. >> We're not? >> No one pulled the core items. >> Right. So those were the only items that were to be considered in closed? >> Yes. >> Okay. I didn't know if there was another one. So take that back. Back it up. And do you want to sit here and talk for a little while? We can do that and let you guys get back to work. So motion to adjourn? >> So moved. >> Motion. >> I know. >> I'm modestly confused. I'm sorry. What did I miss? >> So unless somebody pulled -- I didn't get it either. I thought it may have been another item under closed meeting session. Unless we pulled A and B, there will be no closed meeting. >> Oh. >> It was a placeholder in case there were questions about the specific item, but everything on the agenda today was on consent. >> I completely misunderstood that. I would have pulled an item just so I could learn something. Very well. I'm sorry. I missed the -- >> Sure. I mean, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, Lee. I mean, they could come out and we could pull them in there. >> No, that's okay. Just really caught me off guard. That's all. >> Me too. All right. We got a motion to adjourn for Barbara. >> Second. >> Second. All those in favor, please say aye. >> Aye. >> We are adjourned. Thank you.
