This meeting has been duly posted and we do have a quorum present and I will call us to order at 6.02. We will have a clarification of agenda items and I will turn that over to Shandrin for presentation. >> Good evening. We have three items on the consent agenda. There's two prelim plats and then one final plat. If anybody has questions about those, we can bring up the case managers. Otherwise, we will go to the other item for discussion. >> Commissioner Back. >> Thank you, Chair. I noticed on this one, R on B, PP 16.014, that it's currently zoned as parks and open space. It's future land use, though, as community mixed use. So this guy is applying now. I'm just curious, is he anticipating community mixed use or do we know? >> I'm going to invite Muzay Brias up. He's the planner for this case. >> Okay. >> And Muzay, will you walk us through the requests? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Good evening. I'm Muzay Brias. I'm Muzay Brias with the City of Denton. I'm the associate planner with the City of Denton and the request is for a preliminary plat of two commercial lots. It is located east of northbound I-35 service road and south of West Windsor Drive. Can you please repeat your question? >> Yes. It's currently zoned for parks and open space. But future land use shows that it will be eventually, I guess, if we have a vote on community mixed use. So I'm curious, is he anticipating the community mixed use or is he satisfied with what it is now and planning on his development is going to go along with that? >> The development will be based on the current zoning. >> Okay. >> So it's currently zoned as neighborhood residential mixed use. >> Oh, it is? Okay. That one map I indicated was green space and parks, which I thought was odd, you know, because there is that single family residential right next to it. >> Yes. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Thank you. Any other discussion on the consent agenda? And I know there was some questions about the final -- I'm sorry, the SUP that's being postponed at the request of the applicant. Did anyone have any more discussion on that one? >> The only discussion is they requested the 12th. >> I'll invite Haley Zagorski up to discuss this. >> Yes, the applicant is requested to be postponed until the July 12th agenda. >> Okay. So they'll come before us and if we don't have new commissioners seated, we may have to continue it again, possibly? >> I think they're going to be ready to go on the 12th. It seemed like there was a dual intent to hopefully get more commissioners present that night and to also give them time to do some more neighborhood outreach. >> Okay. Great.
