Catherine Barnett, the Division Manager for Environmental Services and Sustainability, stepped up to present the report. She reminded us that the Framework Fund was established back in 2021 and is guided by these annual workplans, with funding adopted as part of the city budget. The committee's role is to discuss and recommend approval of this workplan to the City Council.
Catherine highlighted that for this planning cycle, a million dollars was used as the basis for our discussions. The focus for the 26-27 workplan is on continuing our ongoing programs and adjusting the year-long program funding just a little bit. She emphasized that this document serves as a guide as part of the city budget.
The agenda also listed staff reports, including a follow-up from the May 27 meeting and a matrix, which were part of the items for consideration.
